TRUSTING GOD; FOUNDATION TO HUMILITY

I PETER 5: 1-11

Humility is the key that unlocks divine blessing of God. God will always resist the proud and give more grace to the humble ones. Today demands that whatever you do should be in humility to one another, not out of eyes service of reward from men but as an attitude that breeds peace and understanding amongst children of God. As servant of God, you should not allow money to rule and ruin your life. Trusting in the lord is the basic foundation for humility irrespective of whatever man may offer you always stand by the truth. And let your yes be yes and No be No. we are in the era the bible specified that men will be lovers of money as dishonest gain. Today people of God compromise their faith because of money. You see a pastor saying that something is black when it is white out of respect for the gold or money to assist them in their works. We are not born again to beg for money or things through unnecessary regard to personalities because of wealth they acquired, which we desire and aspire to have. Please learn to be content lest you turn to be GEHAZI who out of greediness received a curse thing. Little did GEHAZI know that the Leprosy of NAAMAN will be transferred to him, had he known He would not have collected that gift from NAAMAN? So is a life issue today.
PSALM 40:4
(4)        “Happy is the man who trusts in Jehovah and
            who does not look to the defiant or to those
            who are false”

There is dignity in trusting God, than looking up to man who will end up by telling you that without him you cannot exist. That was what Herod did and the angel gave him a thunderous slap that led to his death. You don’t share glory with God irrespective of your status in the society, when you share God’s glory, he will demote you seven times. This is number one pride killer: learn to give God glory and praise for every little thing you achieved.
I PETER 5:2
(2)        “Shepherd the flock of God under your care, serving as
Overseers, not under compulsion, but willingly before
God, not for dishonest gain, but eagerly;
(3)        Not lording it over those who are God’s inheritance,
            but becoming examples to the flock.
(4)        And when the chief shepherd has made manifest, you
            Will receive the unfading crown of glory”

Humility entails that you do everything to the glory of God, not to the glory of Men like HEROD who will aspire for God’s glory. Please don’t share God’s glory with any man because of money.
