NEED FOR STEPPING OUT

GENESIS  12: 1-8

I KINGS 18:21-38

Why there is need for everyone to step out is so that one can create change in the society and world at large. God is sometimes limited towards the help he wants to render because of your wrong positioning and also God is sometimes limited towards you because you don’t hear his voice, those blessing you have been asking God are before your closet door but the enemy are sitting on them because of some nasty reasons. So there is need to advance to designated direction by the Holy Ghost. Also God is limited in the midst of your enemies; God cannot bless you with a blessing having sorrows attached to it, this is why he is planning to take you far away where he can reach you. And this is why he told Abraham to leave His Family to foreign land where he can advance Him and give him peace to enjoy that advancement. Any blessing having any sorrow attached to it is not of God, because our God does not entertain sorrow. Your blessing can be in the midst of your enemies but your Greatness is not in the midst of your enemies or presence of your enemies because your enemies will always be used by Satan to accuse you of evil, even when you are innocent. They slander your name and backbite you.

PSALM 23:5

(1)               You prepare a table for me before my enemies

You refresh my head with oil: my cup is well

Filled”

God knows that if he gives you this blessing, that your enemies might kill you suddenly. So he decided to make it open before them to contend for it first. And you that own the blessing cannot enjoy it without oil touching your head. The Oil is the symbol of empowerment by Holy Ghost. The oil comes to refine every area of your life, because you cannot enjoy refined blessing without being refined. How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and power who went about doing well and healing all manner of diseases and sickness. (ACTS 10:38)

Now do you want to be great? Be ready to step out on your own, any time you make a giant step towards a destination the spirit is taken you, you will experience a dramatic turn around as Abraham did and God made him great till date. The envy and jealousy of friends and relation will sometimes be a barrier to greatness. And this is what God saw in Abraham before asking him to take a giant step forward so that he can fulfill his promise towards him. Imagine at the age of 75 years, no child yet because of wrong position. Things may not go well as you believe until you move to the position God is taken you. You have to determine the position with the Holy Ghost. It might be outside this country or within the country. Ask the Holy Ghost for direction.

GENESIS 12:1

(1)       “And Jehovah said to Abram, “Go out from your land

            and away from your relatives and from house of your

            father  to the land that I will show you

(2)       I will make you great nation and I will bless you, and you

            will become a blessing

(3)       I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who

            Call down evil on you and all the families of the ground

Will certainly be blessed by means of you

(4)       Abraham went just as Jehovah had told him and Lot

            went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left

            Haran”

Abraham went alone, but Lot decided to follow Abraham. Lot was Nephew to Abraham. The destination God is taken you from today is between you and your God. No personality has power to determine your destiny except God and you. Take your own destiny in your own hand and move, and then conquer every opposition and evil wishes of the wicked one.    

Abraham built a physical alter for God at a point of His encounter with God; Elijah also built the same physical altar and call down fire as prove of power of God. Alter is a place of Power and remark. Let us rebuild the altar of our destiny which is spiritual altar today. The altar of your destiny is your heart. Your heart is the sacred point of power that God watches to perform His act. This is why God treat everyone according to what he sees occupying the heart. The Heart is the center of power and change of situation.

PROVERB 4:23

(23)     “Above all the things that you guard,

            Safeguard your heart, for out of it

            are  the sources of life”

Your position in destiny is determined by your thought; your thought helps to propel your destination in life. I mean you move towards your thinking every day. When you think death, absolutely death will come and when you think life and prosperity, you will have them abundance but with time. So understand that your heart is the altar that controls your destiny when you guard it well, it will produce life for you and your family. When your heart is in good position, stepping out becomes very easy for you. So learn to guard your heart very well and your destination will become evidence to people around you. Guard your heart which is altar of God with Prayer and word of God.
