ROMANS 2:1-10
JAMES 4:11-12
Still on Judgment, there are times we Judge without knowing
that we that are judging others commits the same Act. It happened to David,
when God sent Prophet Nathan to tell him his sins and the applicable
punishment. Already David had forgotten the wickedness he committed towards God
by killing Uriah and taking his wife Bathsheba as his own wife as his own wife.
when Nathan told David this in parable, he was furious and said the
person that does the same act which he did was supposed to be put to
death. Then, Prophet Nathan told David “you
are the one that did it”, then, he came back to his sense. But already he
has passed judgment on that person without knowing that he was the one that did
it. This same thing is applicable in Christianity today. A lot of people are
blaming others without knowing that they are the cause of the problem. Some
will accuse others of the same thing they do in secret.
2 SAMUEL 12:1-7
(1) “So Jehovah sent Nathan to David. He
came into him
and said: “there were two men in one city, the one
rich man and the other poor. (2) The rich man had
very many sheep and cattle (3) but the poor man
had nothing but one small female
lamb, which he
had bought. He cared for it , and it grew up to
-gerther with him and his sons. It would eat from
the little food he had and drink from his cup
and sleep in his arms. It became as a daughter
to him.(4) later a visitor came to
the rich man,
but he would not take
any of his own sheep
and cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler
who had come to him. instead he took the poor man’s
lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.”
(5) At this David grew very angry against the man, and he
said to Nathan: “As surely as Jehovah is living,
the man who did this deserves to die! (6) And he
should pay for the lamb four times over; because he
and cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler
who had come to him. instead he took the poor man’s
lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.”
(5) At this David grew very angry against the man, and he
said to Nathan: “As surely as Jehovah is living,
the man who did this deserves to die! (6) And he
should pay for the lamb four times over; because he
did this and show no compassion (7) Then Nathan said to
David: “You are the man! This is what Jehovah the God of
Israel says: I myself anointed you King over Israel and I
rescued you from the hand of Saul.
VERSE 9
(9) “Why did you despise the
word of Jehovah by doing
What is bad in his eyes?
You struck down Uriah the
Hittite with the sword! Then you took his wife as
Your wife after you killed him by sword of the
Ammonite”
The above illustration is typical example of what God said
about judging others, sometimes we pass judgment without knowing that we are
the ones that does the same thing. David was condemning the person because it
was illustration without knowing that He is the one that committed the same
wickedness. And today you are warned to mind how you judge others, please, don’t
judge what others did wrong when you are the architect of the problem.
ROMAN 2:1-10
(1) “Therefore
you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are,
If You Judge; for when you judge another, you
condemn
yourself , because you who judge
practice the same things
(2) Now we know
that God’s Judgment is in harmony with truth,
Against
those who practice such things.
(3) But do you
suppose, O man that while you judge those who
Practice
such things and yet you do them, you will not escape
the judgment
of God”
It Is a natural thing that people are good in pointing
accusing finger to others but not knowing they are the worst people on planet
earth. Refer to the Adulterous woman, people wanted to cast stone on her for
being involved in the act. But Jesus said to them if you have not committed
such act. Be the first to cast stone on this woman all of them left.
JOHN 8:3-9
(3) “And the scribes and Pharisees brought
Unto him
a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set
her in the midst
(4) They say unto him, Master, this woman
was taken
in adultery, in the very act.
(5) Now Moses in the law commanded us, that
such
Should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
(6) This they said, tempting him that they might
have
to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his
finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them
not .
(7) So when they continued asking him, he
lifted up himself
and said unto them, He that is without sin among you,
let him be the first to cast a stone at her.
(8) And again he stooped down, and wrote on
the ground
(9) And they which heard it, being convicted
by their own
Conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the
eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone,
and the woman standing in the midst”
Remember that the Pharisees and Scribes were church leaders,
yet Jesus condemned their doctrine of law. Since church leaders then can make
such terrible mistake of judging and killing people unjustly. What of church
leaders of today? Are they doing it right? You don’t wait to use stone or
cutlass to kill someone, Jesus said that He that hated his brother is a
murderer, and on the last day he might tell you that as a pastor you are a
murderer, you will say how? Don’t ask how because that secret hatred has
qualified you.
Now in the same manner, Jesus saved this woman from his accuser;
he will save you from every terrible accusation the enemies have laid against
you in the past in Jesus name. Whatever that made men to cease and tie your
destiny out of envy and Jealousy is dis annulled today by the power in the Blood
of Jesus Christ. Amen.
JAMES 4:11-12
(11) “Stop speaking against one another,
brothers. Whoever
speaks against a brother or judges his brother speaks
against law and judges law, you are not doer of law
but a Judge.
(12) There is only one who is Lawgiver and
Judge, the one
Who is able to save and destroy. But you, who are
you to be judging your neighbor?
