THE PLIGHT OF EVIL GAIN

HABBAKUK 2:1-11

There is nothing deceitful and disgraceful as the money made in dubious way. It speaks calamity to the beneficiaries at the end. Money made through this means is cursed money. This is why contentment remains the great price for great destinies. When you are not contented with the little God has given you, you will dabble in to things that will destroy you and your family reputation at the end of the day because of greed you destroy things what of saving lives and destinies of generation in a twinkling of an eye. Judas Iscariot did to Jesus and it became promotion. Joseph brothers did the same to Joseph. It also became promotion. Who knows the next victim in this our generation? I rather resort to pursuit of God’s vision in sacrifice to present pleasure that will take away God’s promises from my destiny.

What is your vision like? Stick to it, it must surely speak at the end. Your vision might be the testimony of many generations. Why must you sacrifice it to the present moment of pleasure of evil gain?

HABBAKUK 2:2-4

(2)       “Jehovah then answered me: “Write down the vision

and inscribe it clearly on tablets so that the one

reading aloud from it may do so easily

(3)       For the vision is yet for its appointed time and

            It is rushing towards its end, and it will not lie.

            even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it

            for it will without fail come true”

Every vision passes through the route of patient and endurance before it becomes a reality to people. And don’t take because your expectations are not fulfilled at the moment and dabble into transactions that will earn you a bad name and bad reputation to your family background just because of present gain that will fizzle out within some couple of years. And the shame remains everlasting and stinking. Evil gain is sweet at the moment but become a mouth full of gravel at the end.

HABBAKUK 2:9-10

(9)       “Woe to the one who makes evil gain for his house

            so as to set His nest on the height; To escape the

grasp   of calamity.

(10)     You have plotted shame against your house

            by wiping out many peoples you sin against

            Yourself”

It is impatient to real expectation that makes innocent people to dabble into rituals through joining secret cult and insurgence social vices like human trafficking and prostitution. Let us arise today and call a spade a spade. Evil gain will cause you more harm than good. Wait for that vision to come because evil gain has an expiring date while vision speaks to time indefinite.

I will encourage you to read up men that achieved their vision through patient and hard work.
