THE MOVE OF HOLY GHOST

GENESIS 10:19-45

It is one thing to believe in Jesus Christ and be baptized by Holy Ghost. But a greater event is to develop spiritual ear to hear what the Holy Ghost is saying, when you don’t hearkened or develop your ear to hear what the spirit is saying; because you may be heading to destruction unnoticed. It is good to hear voices but the smartest is to be able to identify the voice of the Holy Ghost or when the Holy Ghost is speaking.

ACTS 10:19

(19)                 “As Peter was still pondering over the vision,

The spirit said: Look! Three men are asking

For you

(20)                 So get up, go downstairs and go with them not

doubting at all, because I have sent them"

Peter hearkened to the Holy Ghost when he speaks and a move to the designated direction and it became a reality. The Holy Ghost does not sound audibly and don’t expect it to sound audibly before you make a move.

ACTS 10:21

(21)     “then Peter went downstairs to the man and said

            “here I am, the one you are looking for why are

            you here?”

(22)     they said: “Cornelius, an army officer, a righteous

            and God fearing man who is well-reported-on

            by the whole nation of the Jews, was given divine

            instruction by a holy angel to send for you to come

            to his house and to hear what you have to say”

From the above content, we can see the divine arrangement God himself made through the Holy Ghost and His Angel. In the same way, we need to be alert in the spirit to know when God is speaking and when flesh is speaking. The flesh speaks contrary to the demands of Holy Ghost and Holy Ghost always speaks expressly to correct and amend the situation. Peter later responded to the move of the Holy Ghost by tracing the direction God is taking Him through the people sent by Cornelius to invite him. At the end of the day God’s purpose was accomplished

ACTS 10:44

(44)     “While Peter was still speaking about these matters,

            speaking about these matters, the holy spirit came

upon all those hearing the word

(45)     And the circumcised believers who had come with

            Peter were amazed, because the free gift of Holy

spirit was being poured at also on people of the

Nations

(46)     for they heard them speaking in foreign languages

            and magnifying God. Then Peter responded:

(47)     Can anyone deny water to prevent from being

            baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just

as we have?

(48)     He commanded them to be baptized in the name

            Of Jesus Christ”

When you respond to the move of the Holy Spirit, there is always a dramatic turnaround of situation. So learn to walk in Holy Ghost.
