GALATIANS 4:12-16
HEBREW 12: 14-17
Sometimes in life as we run our Christian race, we are
faced with opposition to deny Christ or to compromise our stand through our
confession. Those times are sometimes critical that it seems beyond our control
but by his strength we acquired through knowledge of the truth, we summon
courage to voice out the truth irrespective of who is offended and who is
pleased.
You should be like our lord Jesus Christ who does not
look to faces to take decision, but set his heart above to receive instruction
from the father to execute. This should be the best analysis to indifference in
Christianity.
Now, speaking the truth in opposition is what we should
acknowledge as part of our race as pilgrims on earth, doing thing with a clear
conscience, irrespective of the opposition. Remember what Jesus told Peter.
LUKE 22:34
(34) “And
he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock
shall not crow this day, before
that thou
shalt thrice deny that thou
knowest me”
What made peter to deny Jesus? Opposition from men, and I
prophesy! “No matter the opposition this year, you will never compromise your
stand with Christ in Jesus Name!. Speaking the truth in opposition will never
give room to destiny Hijackers,
because the mercy of God is in operation. But when you compromise your stand,
your birthright is taken away from you.
HEBREW 12:24
(16) “And
watch that among you there is no one who is
Sexually
nor anyone who does not appreciate secred
Things,
like Easau, who gave up his right as firstborn
in a exchange one meal.
(17) For
you know that afterward when he wanted to inherit
The
blessing, he was rejected for although he earnestly
Tried
to bring about a change of mind with tears, It was
To no avail”
See you cannot eat your cake and have it. Just like Esau
who sold His birthright, a lot of us have sold our birthright through
compromise of stand with Christ. Telling lies in the face of opposition to
receive an immediate reward in exchange to abundance talents God has given you
to change lives. This was why peter started weeping after he realized His
compromise and what Jesus told him.
LUKE 22:61
(61) “And
the lord turned and looked upon peter
And
peter remembered the word of the lord,
How
he has said unto him, Before the cock
Crow,
thou shall deny me thrice.
(62) And
Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Compromising your stand with the lord, denies you a lot of
things in life. Please learn not to compromise you stand. Let your yes be yes and your No be No.
