THE VANITY OF IDOLATRY3

ISAIAH 17:1-END

SONGS OF SOLOMON 3:1-END

Today, God is still sounding warning against his people in love, to desist from Idolatry, God is Jealous when his glory is exchanged to another image or element which is supposed to take up his first position in your life. And as a result his anger is kindled:

ISAIAH 17:10-11

(10)  Because thou hast forgotten the God of

thy salvation, and hast not been mindful

of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt

 thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it

with strange slips:

(11)  In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow,

 and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to

flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day

of grief and of desperate sorrow.”

God said that you have forgotten the relationship he first established with you. And he is calling you back:

ISAIAH 3:1-4

(1)            “For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take

 away from Jerusalem and from Judah the

stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the

whole stay of water.

(2)            The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the  ancient,

(3)            The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and

the counselor, and the cunning artificer,

and the eloquent orator.

(4)            And I will give children to be their princes, and

 babes shall rule over them.”

Look, your relationship with him will be renewed today if only you will surrender to his call for service today in Jesus name. Remain blessed.
