FUTILITY OF TRUSTING MUNDANE WORLD

ISAIAH 17:1-END

ECCLESIASTES 2:1-END

PROVERB 15:1-END

Mundane or material things do not last, but whatever is divine and immortal will last till eternity. So let us strife to trust God in divinity than relying and resting hope in what our hands had made or fashion; knowing full well that we are all going down to the grave where all things in existence where created:

GENESIS 2:7

(7)     “And Jehovah God went on to form the man

          Out of dust from the ground and to blow into

          His nostrils the breath of life, and the man

became a living person”

GENESIS 3:19

(19)  “In the sweat of your face you will eat bread

          Until you return to the ground, for out of it

          You were taken. For dust you are and to dust

          You will return”

This is why today, we should not make it a priority to the extent of quarrelling over it, rather we should treat them as a passing phase while we focus on the main thing which is divinity and its demands; knowing full well that one day we are going to drop this earth suit called body:

ECCLESIATES 2:13-15

(13)  “And I saw that there is an advantage to

wisdom over folly, just as there is an

advantage to light over darkness

(14)  The wise one has his eyes in his head, but

          The stupid one is walking in darkness. I

          Have come to realize that there is one

          Outcome that befalls all of them

(15)  Then I said in my heart: “What happens to

          The stupid one will also happen to me”

So the world is not a lasting home for man, we are on a transit here on earth. This is why we must endeavor to build up our faith towards our destination in life and divinity, because at the end of the day, divinity remains the lasting home for every mankind:

ECCLESIASTES 2:21

(21)  “For a man may work hard, guided by wisdom

          And knowledge and skill, but he must hand

          Over his portion  to a man who did not work

          For it. This too is futility and a great tragedy”

So today, we must endeavor to search and serve our God in truth and spirit, knowing that trusting him is the end call of man to divine destiny:

ISAIAH 17:7-10

(7)     “In that day, man will look up to his maker

          And his eyes will gaze at the Holy one of

          Israel

(8)     He will not look to the altars, the work

          Of his hand, and he will not gaze at

what his finger have made, either the

sacred poles or incense stands

(9)     In that day his fortress cities will become like

          Abandoned site in the wood land; like

a branch that was abandoned before the

Israelites: It will become a wasteland”

So today, don’t set your hope on mundane things rather set your hope on immortality, and divinity because that is the end home of every man. Remain blessed
