OF SOLOMON 3:1-END
Idolatry practices are a gimmick in the
society today; where people
Ceases religious beliefs to dupe others
as well as practice 419. So today
God is pronouncing curses against every form
of idolatry practices,
especially to the children of God who has adopt strange doctrines
mixed with divination just to better their
belly with bread and butter.
Based on this platform today, the same
God is calling for repentance in
love; asking you to forsake idolatry and
serve him in truth and in spirit:
ISAIAH 21:9
(9) “And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men,
with
a couple of horsemen. And he answered and
said,
Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven
images of her gods he hath broken unto the
ground.”
Babylon comprises every form of atrocity
in the world. The word
Babylon can be described as a mixture of
Christianity with Whoredom
and divination just to make gain. This is
Christianity by lips service, their
words does not justify their action. They
say one thing and do another
thing or the contrary. Just like the
Pharisees and Sadducees in Mathew
23.
MATHEW 23:1-10
(1) Then
spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
(2) Saying
The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
(3) All
therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that
observe
and do; but do not ye after their works: for
they say, and do not.
(1)
For they
bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne,
and lay them on men's shoulders; but they
themselves
will not move them with one of their
fingers.
(2)
But all
their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries,
and enlarge the borders of their garments,
(3)
And love
the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief s
eats in the synagogues,
(4)
And
greetings in the markets, and to be called of men,
Rabbi, Rabbi.
(5)
But be not
ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master,
even Christ; and all ye are
brethren.
(6)
And call
no man your father upon the earth: for one
is your Father, which is in heaven.
(7)
Neither be
ye called masters: for one is your Master,
even Christ”
This forms the foundation
of Babylon, and as a result God is not happy with Babylonian practices; and
that is why he had set out a day to judge Babylon:
REVELATION
18:1-3
(1) “And
after these things I saw another angel come
down from
heaven, having great power; and
the earth
was lightened with his glory.
(2) And
he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is
become the
habitation of devils, and the hold of
every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean
and
hateful bird.
(3) For
all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath
of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have
committed fornication with her, and the
merchants
of
the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”
This is the doom of everything called Babylon which is the
father of idolatry practices:
REVELATION
18:21-24
(21) “And
a mighty angel took up a stone like a great
millstone,
and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus
with
violence shall that great city Babylon be
thrown down, and shall be found no more at
all.
(22) And
the voice of harpers, and musicians,
and of
pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no
more at
all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever
raft he
be, shall be found any more in thee; and
the sound of a millstone shall be heard no
more
at all in
thee;
(23) And
the light of a candle shall shine no more at all
in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and
of the
bride shall be heard no more at all in thee:
for thy
merchants
were the great men of the earth; for by
thy
sorceries were all nations deceived.
(24) And
in her was found the blood of prophets, and
of saints,
and of all that were slain upon the
earth.”
So
today, the root of every problem we are facing is traceable to idolatry. A lot
of people has forsaken their duty to God and turn to idolatry practices,
especially in the house of God. Pastors now worship the gift more than the
giver of the gift being their God. remember that every perfect gift you receive
from God is not for selfish purpose and service but it is given for selfless
service to God and humanity. But you may be asking what the roots of idolatry
practices are? No, it is not only when you bow down to worship images. We practices
idolatry everyday without knowing it.
ISAIAH
17:10-11
(8)
“Because
thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation,
and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy
strength,
therefore shalt thou plant pleasant
plants, and shalt
set it with strange slips:
(9)
In the day
shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and
in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to
flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day
of grief and of
desperate sorrow.”
Today is the day to make
restitution with God; and turnaround from idolatry practices because your maker
is in love and jealous as well because you make idols your end point.
SONGS OF
SOLOMON 3:1-4
(1)
“By night
on my bed I sought him whom my soul
loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
(2)
I will
rise now, and go about the city in the streets,
and in the broad ways I will seek
him
whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found
him not.
(3)
The
watchmen that go about the city found me:
to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul
loveth?
(4)
It was but
a little that I passed from them, but I
found him whom my soul loveth: I
held him,
and would not let him go, until I had brought
him into my mother's
house, and into the
chamber of her that conceived m”
So today, God is in need
of the one He loves, you and I are the one He loves by sending his only
begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross of Cavalry (JOHN 3:16).
JOHN 3:16
(16) “For God so loved the world that he gave his
Only begotten son that whosever
believeth in him
Will not perish but have everlasting
life”
So as you believe in
Christ today and forsake Idolatry practices, your life will never be the same. Remain
