GOD WILL USE HIS SERVANT TO END IDOLATRY

ISAIAH 42: 1-END

JEREMAIAH 19:1-END

God is not happy because his own elects has deviated from the main

course of their calling to chase shadows and fantasies and as a result he

had decided to punish their wicked and idolatry practices  through his

prophets:

JEREMAIAH 19:3-5

(3)     “And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD,

O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem;

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

 Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which

whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

(4)     Because they have forsaken me, and have

 estranged this place, and have burned incense in it

unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers

          have known, nor the kings of Judah, and

have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

(5)     They have built also the high places of Baal,

to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings

unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor

spake it, neither came it into my mind:”

Remember that God will not do anything or cause harm without letting

his prophet know about it. God said that today he detest every form of

idolatry practices which his own elects he will use to dethrone those

idol and those that made them gods for themselves:

ISAIAH 42:8

8.      “I am the LORD: that is my name: and

my glory will I not give to another, neither

 my praise to graven images.”

God is jealous when his glory is exchanged to an image or given to men. No one had eaten the glory of God and go Scot free:

ISAIAH 42:17-21

(17)  “They shall be turned back, they shall be

greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images,

that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

(18)  Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

(19)  Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as

my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he

that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

(20)  Seeing many things, but thou observest not;

opening the ears, but he heareth not.

(21)  The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness'

 sake; he will magnify the law, and make it

honourable.”

So today God is asking you to surrender those things you made your

gods and protectors because they cannot protect you. It is Him that will

give you security and salvation, so trust Him and he will bring it to pass.

 Expect a great change today as you make God your deliverer in Jesus

 name. Amen. Remain blessed
