SEEKING HELP

PROVERB 27:1-END

PSALM 124:1-END

ISAIAH 31:1-END

Today, God is warning against seeking help from men. Whom do you seek help from? When your help does not come from God, it is fatal and dangerous. And when you receive a help that God has not approved, it is a fastest route to grave yard. So today who is your helper? Israel nearly became victims of their enemies for asking and receiving help:

PSALM 124:7-8

(7)     “We are like a bird that escaped from the hunter’s

          Trap; the trap was broken and we escaped

(8)     Our help is in the name of Jehovah, the maker of

          Heaven and earth”

Some helps are traps especially to the ones from relatives who sometimes fall the victims of wicked personalities due to greediness and covetousness. This is why the one you ask help matters in life and destiny. It is required that you ask God for help and direction towards your expectation; it is when your direction is clear from his word that you can ask help. Because any help you receive without God’s approval will end up in misery.

PROVERB 27:10-12

(1)            “Do not forsake your friend or your father’s friend,

And do not enter your own brother’s house on the

Day of disaster, better is a neighbor nearby than

A brother far away

(2)            Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice,

So I can make a reply to him who taunts me,

(3)            The shrew person sees the danger and conceals

Himself; but the inexperienced keep right on

Going and suffer the consequences”

Why must you not seek help from a brother? Wisdom knows that a brother can misdirect you into trouble by help. Household help remains the most dangerous and hindrance to destination in life if one is not properly careful of this; especially when they are the enemy. So today, learn to ask help from God and from true friends like Jonathan to David:

I SAMUEL 18:1-5

(1)   “As soon as David had finished speaking to Soul

        Jonathan and David became bound together

        In close friendship, and Jonathan began

        to love him as himself

(2)   From that day, Soul kept David with him,

        He did not allow him to return to his father’s

        House

(3)   And Jonathan and David made covenant

        because he loved him”

(4)   Jonathan took off the sleeveless Coat that

        He wore and gave it to David, along with

        His gear, his sword and his belt.

(5)  David began going out and was successful

       Wherever Soul would send him; So Saul

       put him in charge of the fighting men,

       and this pleased  all the people and the

       servants of Saul”

Also receiving help from Egypt is very dangerous. Egypt today is a place of atrocities and sin, a place of bondage, harlotry and Prostitution as well as Bribery and corruption, more especially embezzlement. This system will keep the children of God in Perpetual bondage because when they think they are moving forward, they don’t know that they had been trapped to serve mammon the rest of their lives, therefore making money their god. you are not created to serve money, money is meant to serve you. And until you arise and reposition your destination, you might not become free from Egypt talk more of getting to your promised land. So your journey is too far.

ISAIAH 31:1-3

(1)     “woe to those who go down to Egypt for assistance

          Who rely on horses, who trust in war chariots because

they are mighty

But they do not look to the Holy one of Israel

And they do not search for Jehovah

(2)     But he is also wise and will bring calamity

          And he will not take back his word

          He will rise up against house of evil doers,

          And against those who help wrong doers

(3)     Though Egyptians are mere men and not God:

          Their horses are flesh and not spirit.

          When Jehovah stretches out his hand

          Whoever offers help will stumble

          And whoever is helped will fall;

          They will perish at the same time”

So today, say no to anything called Egypt in your life. The rule here is that we don’t labor to get rich, rather our laboring ends up in meeting needs of others especially of those that are amongst household of faith:

PROVERB 23:1-8

(1)     “When you sit down to eat with a King

          Carefully consider what is before you

(2)     Put a knife to your throat; if you have a large

          Appetite

(3)     Do not crave his delicacies; for it is deceptive food

(4)     Do not wear yourself out to gain wealth

          Stop and show understanding

(5)     When you cast your eyes on it, it is not there,

          For it will surely sprout wings like an eagle and fly

          Off into the sky

(6)     Do not eat the food of a stingy person, Do not crave

          His delicacies

(7)     For he is like one keeping accounts, “Eat and drink”, he

          Says to you, but he does not mean it

(8)     You will vomit up the morsel you have eaten

          And will have wasted your compliment”

So today, we should mind who we ask for help. You are advised to receive help that God send your way. But don’t be quick to ask help from men when God has not given you signal and direction because it is sometimes deceitful and dangerous. Remain blessed.
