PSALM 124:1-END
Today talks more of
your security as a child of God; where and what are your sources of your
security? Is it your strength, your might, your money, your men or body guards,
although money and wisdom are source of security according to Ecclesiastes 7:12
(12) For
wisdom is a defence, and money is a
defence:
but the excellency of knowledge is, that
wisdom giveth
life to them that have it.”
In addition, all the above answers
are good to a mundane man, but bear in mind that except God secures a man, his
physical security are in vain. When you trust your physical security, what of
the spiritual ones? Are you protected from the invisible arrows of the wicked
according to PSALM 91:5-7?
PSALM
91:5-7
(5) “Thou
shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for
the arrow that flieth by day;
(6) Nor
for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for
the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
(7) A
thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand
at thy
right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”
PSALM 127:1
(1) “Except the
LORD build the house, they labour in
vain
that build it: except the LORD keep the
city, the
watchman waketh but in vain.”
This is why we must
trust God in our day to day activities through his word, knowing fully well
that the just shall live by faith in God’s word. Let us learn to avoid every
evil and negative path presented to us to thread on rather let us in fear of God choose the
right path to our glorious destination which ensure our security.
PSALM 34:7
(1)
“The angel
of the LORD encampeth round about them
that fear him, and delivereth them.”
The fear of the Lord
is the excellent way to wisdom, and we must have to thread on the path that
leads to his way and that is the only highway as a child of God that will give
you security:
PROVERB 16:17
(17) “The
highway of the upright is to depart from evil:
he that
keepeth his way preserveth his soul.”
So today as a
servant of God, learn to safeguard your ways and mind every opportunity that is
not in line with his word for your life. Use His word as a mirror standard to
your destination and become free from traps of your enemies
PSALM 124:6-8
(6) “Blessed
be the LORD, who hath not given us
as a prey
to their teeth.
(7) Our
soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare
of the
fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are
escaped.
(8) Our
help is in the name of the LORD, who
made
heaven and earth.”
Some opportunity are unfortunate
traps, which the enemies has set up to take what belongs to you as well as
render you useless, but you are fortunate because the one whom you serve had
called you and made you an over comer already because he had promised to safe
guard you and give you as a covenant to deliver his people:
ISAIAH 42:6-8
(6) I the LORD have
called thee in righteousness, and
will
hold thine hand, and will keep thee,
and give
thee for a covenant of the people,
for a light of the Gentiles;
(7) To
open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners
from the
prison, and them that sit in
darkness
out of the prison house.
So, today your life
will no longer be the same as you avoid
every evil path and opportunity presented to your doom and destruction in Jesus
