PSALM 130:1-END
Wickedness is an act of injustice, it is a satanic
and crafty nature a serpent possessed that harms and bites without looking
back. What am I trying to point out? You can be crafty and not wicked because
your craftiness ends up in delivering souls and helping people, this is why God said that we should be wise
as serpent but harmless like a dove (Mathew 10:16).
But real wickedness we are talking here bites
others especially innocent ones; it is crafty and its craftiness ends up in
shedding innocent blood:
PSALM 10:2
(1)
The wicked one arrogantly pursues the helpless one
But he will be caught in
the schemes he devices
(2)
For the wicked one boasts about his selfish desires
And blesses the greedy one;
He disrespects Jehovah
(3)
In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no
Investigation. All his
thoughts are: “there is no God
(4)
His ways keeps prospering; But your judgment are
Beyond his understanding
He scoffs at all his
adversaries
(5)
He says in his heart “I will never be shaken for
generation after generation
I will never see
Calamity
(6)
His mouth is full of curses, lies and threats
under his tongue are
trouble and injury
(7)
He waits in ambush near the settlements;
From his hiding place he kills
an innocent one
His eyes are watching for
an unfortunate victim
(8)
He waits in his hiding place like a Lion in its lair
He waits to seize the
helpless one when he pulls
his net shut
(9)
The victim is crushed and brought down;
The unfortunate victim”
The above quality specifies the strategies the
wicked adopt to accomplish his acts towards his victims. The behavior of the
wicked or his attitude is still another thing we need to know to be able to
identify them in our day to day activities:
PROVERB 6:12
(12) “A
useless and wicked man walks about with crooked speech
(13) He
winks with his eyes and signals with his foot and motions
with
his finger
(14) With
a perverted heart, He is always scheming evil and
Spreading contention
(15) Therefore
his disaster comes suddenly; in a moment he will
ne broken beyond healing”
One attitude to identify a wicked person is gossip
and spreads of rumor to victimize others. They do this out of pride and arrogant which is the lamp of the
wicked (PROVERB 21:4)
EXODUS 23:1-2
(1)
“You must not spread a report that is not true.
Do not corporate with a
wicked one by becoming
a malicious witness
(2)
You must not follow after the crowd to do evil
And you must not pervert
justice by giving
testimony to g along with
the crowd”
This is a warning to desist from the path of
the wicked ones; don’t allow anyone to engage you into unnecessary rumors of
all kind, it can be dangerous. Now these are the things God hate in the life of
a wicked person:
PROVERB 6:16
(16) “There are six things that God hates, yes,
seven things
that
he detests:
(17) Haughty eyes, a lying tongue and hands that
shed
innocent blood
(18) A heart plotting wicked schemes, and feet that
runs
quickly
to evil
(19) A false witness who lies with every breath
And
anyone sowing contention among brothers”
These are the things God hates about the
wicked. These qualities are typical nature of a wicked personality. They are
swift to do evil. Remain blessed.
