GOD’S CONTROL; THE KEY TO DELIEVERANCE

ISAIAH 19:1-END

PROVERB 21:1-END

PSALM 144:1-END

Control is an important machinery God uses towards his creature; especially man. This is why self control must be an important fruit of Holy Ghost every child of God have to give adequate attention in order to maximize potentials and fulfill destiny. A lot of destinies have crashed as a result of lack of self control. It takes a man of Holy Ghost to impose self control on his/her life because control is God’s nature. In fact, if you are not filled with Holy Ghost. You may not exercise control appropriately. So this brings us to today’s message:

PROVERB 21:1

(1)   “A King’s heart is like streams of water in Jehovah’s hand

He directs it wherever He pleases

(2)     All of a man’s ways seem right to him; But Jehovah

examines the heart

(3)   To do what is right and just is pleasing to Jehovah than

Sacrifice”

A king’s heart is a heart of obedient, a heart of willingness and yielding to God for a change. It is a heart that God is looking for, and had seen a man that has it in the past and that was King David:

PSALM 144:1-3

(1)   “May Jehovah my Rock, be praised who trains

my hand for warfare

(2)   He is my Loyal hand and my stronghold,

My shield and the one in whom I have taken

Shelter; the one subduing people under me

(3)   O Jehovah, what is man that you should notice

Him; the son of mortal man that you should pay

Attention to him?

King David let us know that it was God that exercised control by training him for battles which he was victorious. And he was successfully trained because he yielded his life to God for training. Now how many times have you yielded to Holy Ghost direction or do you do things as he likes? Today, you have a chance to ask Holy Ghost for direction; because he is the last resort to your problem. Whatever he ask you, follow accordingly.

Look before every deliverance; there was control. If God cannot discipline and control you in that situation by Holy Ghost and his servants; then forget it. You are still far from deliverance.

 ISAIAH 19:22-25

(22) “Jehovah will strike Egypt, striking and healing it;

          And they will return to Jehovah and he will respond

          to their entreaties and heal them

(23)   In that day, there will be a high way out of Egypt

         to Assyria. Then Assyria will come into Egypt and

         Egypt into Assyria, and Egypt will serve God

         Together with Assyria

(24)  In that day Israel will be the third along with Egypt

        And with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth

(25) For Jehovah of armies will have blessed it; saying

        Blessed be my people Egypt and the work of my hand

       Assyria,  and my inheritance Israel”

God controlled Egyptian by imposing punishment to them. The same God restored them by blessing them after deliverance. See, until God controls a man or nation, deliverance may not come their way. Training is a route to deliverance. So create avenues for control and your life will never be the same. Control is not limited to God alone but to include man. If a man can control what he says, he is a perfect man:

PROVERB 21:23

(23) “The one guarding his mouth and his tongue keeps

         Himself out of trouble”

PROVERB 18:21

(21) “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue

        Those who love to use it will eat its fruitage”

JAMES 3:2

(2) “For we all stumble many times, if any one does

     Not stumble in word; he is a perfect man, able

    to Bridle also his whole body”

JAMES 3:8

(1)               “But no human can tame the tongue, it is unruly

and injurious , full of deadly poison.

So the tongue remains the centre of control to human destiny. Remain blessed.
