PROVERB 27:1-END

SONGS OF SOLOMON 3:1-END

PROVERB 18:1-END

Your friends remains the last resort in the days of adversities, not your brother, sister or relatives. These will disappoint you. Though it is good to mind the calibers of friends we keep, but when a companionship is established; guard it courteously because it may prove a lasting solution in the long run of destiny.

 PROVERB 27:9-10

(9)       “Oil and incense make the heart rejoice;

            So does sweet friendship springing from

            Sincere counsel

(10)     Do not forsake your friends or your father’s

            Friends

            And do not enter your own brother’s house

            On the day of disaster

            Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother

            Far away”

Why did wisdom teach this? Wisdom made it clear because the family sector remains the inhibition and the greatest enemies of divine destiny. The bible said that a man’s enemies are the members of his household:

MICAH 7:6

(6)       “For a son despises his father,

            A daughter rises up against her mother,

            And daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law;

            A man’s enemies are the men of his household.”

MATHEW 10:36

(36)     “Indeed a man’s enemies will be those of his own

            Household

Except mother and father, siblings remain the greatest inhibition to glorious destiny. It happened to JOSEPH, when God permitted his siblings to attempt murdering him though the hand of God was upon him, he made them sold him to Egypt. It also happened to JEPHTHAH (JUDGES 11:1-END) because he was a son of prostitute born to Gilead, the sons of Gilead discriminated him but the bible described him as a mighty warrior, they told JEPHTHAH that he will never share inheritance with them despite his abilities as a strong man. JABEZ was also a victim of such circumstance:

I CHRONICLES 4:9-10

(9)       “Jabez was more honorable than his brothers;

            And his mother named him Jabez, saying:

            “I gave birth to him in Pain”

(10)     Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying:

            “O that you would bless me and enlarge

my territory and let your hand be with me

and preserve me from calamity, so that it

may bring no harm to me! So God brought

about what he had asked for”

God told Abraham to leave his relatives and Kindred to a land where he had prepared to bless him because he knew that his relative and his household will be obstacle to that blessing. Though he obeyed God and step out to the destination but one thing happened and that is “His Nephew Lot followed after him”, the same lot became an obstacle to Abraham on the way to the land where God has directed him to move. There were clashes between Lot’s herdsmen and Abraham’s herdsmen. So Abraham had to separate from Lot so that peace will reign. So this is why you are not called to serve with your relations, you are called alone, and your destination in life should be man alone. Today, I see God planning to take someone to a far distant part of the world. God said that your generation shall be blessed; your sorrow of yesterday is turning to early morning Joy. I see a door that no other person can shut except God open to somebody from today in Jesus name. Amen .Remained blessed.
