Today, despite the global
civilization taking shape in the whole world does not eliminate the practice of
idolatry. Idolatry still remains abomination to our God till date. Even when
people don’t bow to images, they have substitutes that replace images in their
lives which deprive them of the worship they owe God. Some people, their
idolatry practices are their career which they cherish most than God’s position
in their lives while still others theirs are the businesses they own and still
others their idolatry practice is their wealth they trust as security. All these
have taken the minds of men from God as their true source of existence and
sustenance. And as a result, they no longer pray, because their money has form
security, others no longer study the word of God because now they have gotten
PHD Certificate and award that can fetch them the type of Job they need in the
whole world. Still, there are other groups that picture their business beyond
the knowledge of God. Today, God say I should tell you that by strength shall
no man prevail. Your effort without Christ will end up in crises. So he is
calling such people to come so that they can reason together. God rejected Soul
for using his own wisdom which is idolatry before God.
ISAIAH 1:10-19
(10)“Hear the word of Jehovah, you dictators of Sodom
Pay attention to the law of our God, you
people
Of Gomorrah
(11) “Of what benefit to me are your many sacrifices?
Says Jehovah
“I have had enough of your
burnt offerings of rams
And the fats of well fed
animals
And I have no delight in
the blood of young bulls and
Lambs and goats
(12) When you come to appear before me, who has
required this from you;
this trampling of my courtyards?
(13) Stop bringing in any more worthless grain offerings
Your incense is detestable
to me, New moon, Sabbaths
The calling of
conventions, I cannot put up with your
magical power along with
your solemn assembly.
(14) I have hated your new moons and your festivals
They have become a burden
to me; I am tired of
bearing them
(15) And when you spread out your palms, I hid my
eyes from you. Although
your offer many prayer
I am
not listening; Your hands are filled with blood
(16) Wash yourself, make yourselves clean; Remove
Your evil deeds from my
sight; Stop doing bad
(17) Learn to do good, seek justice, correct the oppressor,
Defend the right of the fatherless
child and plead
the cause of the widow
(18) “Come, now, and let us set matters straight
between us; says Jehovah,
Though your sins
are like scarlet
They will be made as white
as snow
Though they are as red as crimson cloth
They will become like wool
(19) If you show willingness and listen, you will eat
The good things of the
land”
Obedient is simply means application
of God’s word to your situation, career, business etc. Anything short of word
of God is idolatry practices. So today obedient remains the key that will
reward your faithfulness in that your career, business and dangerous situation.
God simply chose David in place of Soul whom he rejected because of heart of
obedient. And today I prophesy in the life of somebody: “your obedient to God’s word or instructions by Holy Ghost will take
you to another level today, in Jesus Name”
ISAIAH 41:27
(1)
“ I was the first to say to Zion: “Look! Here they are!
And to
Jerusalem I will send bearer of good news
(2)
But I kept looking and there was no one.
There was not
among them to give advice.
And I kept
asking them to reply
(3)
Look! All of them are delusion
Their works
are nothing, their metal images are
wind and
unreality”
Imagine God himself searching
for the one he can entrust with gospel to his people in the Zion but could not
find anyone faithful to the task. Their mind is not focused in God. their minds
are all focused in the things of the world even in the presence God, they are
pondering on their needs, forgetting the word of God they need to please God.
until your learn to please God through His words. You remain with problem.
Because it is only God‘s word that can shatter solid Rocks.
JEREMIAH 23:29
(29) “Is not my word as a
fire,”? saith the lord;
And like a hammer that breaketh the rock
In to pieces”
PSALM 107:20
(20) “He sent his word, and
healed them, and
delivered them from destructions”
As you obey God’s word
today, things will turn around. God said that He is about to open a door where
there is no door to success.
ISAIAH 41:17
(17) “The needy and the poor are seeking water, but
there
is none
Their tongue is dry from thirsty
I
Jehovah, I will answer them
I,
the God of Israel, will not abandon them
(18) I will make rivers flow on the bare hills
And
springs in the valley plain
I
will turn the wilderness land into pool of water
(19) In the desert I will plant the ceder tree, the
myrtle
And
the oil tree
In the
desert I will plant Juniper tree
Together with the Ash and Cypress tree”
Today God said that those things, you
suffered yesterday, you will not suffer again today. But He will open a door
that no man can close for you in Jesus name. Amen. Remain blessed .
