THE GREAT CALL TO SERVE

JEREMIAH 1:1-END

A lot of us today are confused of lives’ issues. People misunderstand God’s calling to be a thing of bread and butter as well as a way to extort money from the world. But it is not like that. You are called to selfless service. A service that man will not reward you but God can only reward your faithfulness to service. And when you are doing this service to God, do not expect anything from man; but keep expecting from God because what you can only receive in this kingdom is what God has approved for you. You can never receive more than God’s approval. The same God who called you to this service, will definitely reward you:

ISAIAH 61:1-4

(1)       “The spirit of the sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me,

            Because Jehovah anointed me to declare good news

            To the meek

            He sent me to bind up broken hearted

            To proclaim the liberty to the captive

            And the wide opening of the eyes to the prisoners

(2)       To proclaim the year of Jehovah’s goodwill

            And the day of Vengeance of our God

            To comfort all who mourn

(3)       To provide for those mourning over zion

            To give them a headdress instead of ashes

            The oil of exultation instead of mourning

            The garment of praise instead of despondent

Spirit

And they will be called the big trees of righteousness

The planting of Jehovah in order to glorify him

(4)       They will rebuild the ancient ruins;

            They will raise up the desolated places of the past

            And they will restore the devasted cities

            The places that lay desolate for generation

after generation”

This is the main reason of the great call; you are called to save and restore other people. So be sure to answer this call so that your generation will see light and not darkness. Jeremiah answered this call, even after pretending to be weak. Today, you can do the same.

JEREMIAH 1:4-5

(4)       “The word of Jehovah came to me saying:

(5)       Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

            And before you were born; I sanctified you

            I made you a prophet to the nations

God has called somebody today to be a prophet over nations. It takes your courage and determination to answer that call as Jeremiah did. Your change is about to emerge in your generation, so, open up and answer that call. Remained blessed.
