The mouth still remains the centre of power that regulates human activities and system. It is the smallest part of human system that can set the whole body or nations on fire. If we can control and monitor what we say, I see it as the best solution to one’s problem.

PROVERB 18:20

(20)     “From the fruitage of a man’s speech his

stomach will be filled

He will be satisfied with what his lips

Produced

(21)     Death and life are in the power of the

            Tongue

            Those who love to use it will eat its

Fruitage”

This is why you must always monitor what you say or the things you voice out before the public. You can be condemned by your speech and you can be justified by your speech. Do not speak arrogantly before people to gain popularity. That is pride per excellence; this is why God killed King Herod. He spoke arrogantly to the extent that people began to see him as a god. God became jealous because he took the glory due to God for himself. His word condemned him to death as the angel of the lord smites him to death:

ACTS 12: 21

(1)               “On a set day, Herod clothed himself with Royal raiment

And sat down on the Judgment seat and began giving

Public address

(2)               Then the people who were assembled began shouting

“A god’s voice and not a man’s

(3)               Instantly the angel of Jehovah struck him, because

He did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten

Up by worms and died”

That serve as example for every one that speaks arrogantly before the public without giving God the Glory. All your glory should be to God through his son Jesus Christ.

ISAIAH 44:25

(25)     “I am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers

And I am the one who make diviners act like fools

The one confounding the wise men

And turning their knowledge into foolishness

(26)     The one making the word of his servant come true

            And completely fulfilling the predictions of his

messengers;

The one saying of Jerusalem, “She will be inhabited

And of the cities of Judah

They will be rebuilt, and I will restore her ruins”

Monitor and Mind your words as from today, so that you don’t destroy others and yourself. Remain blessed
