PUNISHMENT FOR DISOBEDIENT AND RESTORATION FOR OBEDIENT

ISAIAH 3:1-END

ISAIAH 60:1-END

Today, God is set to punish every act of disobedient and injustice as well as bring restoration to every obedient child. The sin of Judah and Jerusalem is that they cease from spreading the good news to embark on their own words and action to the detriment of word of God.

ISAIAH 3:8

(8)       “For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen

Because in words and deeds they are against Jehovah

They behave defiantly in his glorious presence

(9)       The expression of their faces testifies against them

            And they proclaim their sin like Sodom,

            They do not try to hide it.

            Woe to them, for they are bringing disaster on themselves”

This is one of the reasons God is bringing punishment to every disobedient of house of God. And God said that he is withdrawing his favor and support until they repent:

ISAIAH 3: 1-5

(1)       “For look! The true lord Jehovah of armies is removing from

            Jerusalem and Judah every Kind of support of bread and

            water

(2)       Mighty Man and warrior, Judge and prophet, diviner and elder

(3)       Chief of 50, dignitary and adviser; the expert magician and the

            Skilled charmers

(4)       I will make boys their princes; and the unstable will rule over

Them

(5)       The people will oppress each one his fellow man

            The boy will assault the old man

            And the lightly esteemed one will defy the respected one”

(6)       Each one will take hold of his brother in his father’s house and

            Say: “you be our commander; take charge of this overthrown

            pile of ruin

(7)       But he will protest in that day “I will not be your wound dresser

            I have no food or clothing in my house

            Do not make me commander over the people”

Though God will still have mercy in his infinite love, and show favor to his people. When they obey:

ISAIAH 60:10-12

(10)     “Foreigners will build your walls; and their kings

will minister to you; for in my indignation I struck

you but in my favor I will have mercy on you

(11)     Your gate will be kept open constantly

            They will not be closed by day or night

            To bring to you the resources of the nations

And their Kings will take lead

(12)     For any nation and any kingdom that will not

            Serve you will perish; and the nations will

            Utterly devasted”

Today, the type of restoration God is giving to His obedient ones cannot be measured to their previous blessings. There is an abundant blessing coming your ways today.

ISAIAH 60: 14 - 16

(14)     “The sons of those who oppressed you will come

and bow before you; all those treating you

disrespectfully must bow down at you feet,

And they will have you the  city of Jehovah

Zion of the Holy one of Israel

(15)     Instead of your being abandoned and hated with

            Nobody passing through

            I will make your source of everlasting pride

            A cause for rejoicing throughout generations”
