Mathew 26: 41-56
A lot of destinies have remained unfulfilled because of
mental laziness and sleeping during harvest. In today’s scripture Jesus found
them sleeping three consecutive times while they supposed to be praying for
their tomorrow or future. There is no CROWN without CROSS, even Jesus
demonstrated it in today’s scripture.
Mathew 26:45-46
(45) “Then, he returned to the
disciples and said to them:
“At such a time as
this, you are sleeping and resting
Look! The hour has
drawn near for the son of man to
Be betrayed into the hand of
sinners”
(46) Get up, let us go. Look!
My betrayer has drawn near”
As this was the critical moment in Jesus life on planet
earth, it is not the time to be sleeping. It is time to offset loads
spiritually through fasting and prayer. The same period comes to every genuine
child of God. It is a period for some people to thrown in the towel in agony of
pains and suffering as a Christian. As a result, they cannot reign with Christ.
It is this cross that brings glory and the glory is what God uses to announce His
Kingdom because glory attracts Souls in to the Kingdom of Heaven. Seek God and
give him the glory through the cross (suffering for Christ) and procure the
unending grace.
