LAZINESS

Laziness has caused more harm to humanity than good; it has some damaging contributing adjectival factor that qualifies this noun called “LAZINESS”. Laziness sometimes is not physical but it originates from the level of mental regulation. The word “Laziness” begins from the intelligent quotient (IQ). Some people are mentally lazy when it comes to thinking out solution to survive in life. Look you can never prevail by your physical effort, until you sit down and do some necessary calculation with your brain, you are heading nowhere in life. As a matter of fact you remain like that the rest of     your life.

Those that rule the world today are people that have sat down and apply their thinking initiative by the help of Holy Ghost to see a problem of humanity and think out solution to those problems. For instance: Let use a use a Barrow pusher, your pushing wheel barrow is ok but that cannot pay your house rent, even with all your effort in doing that throughout this year, because one thing there is competition in the business, everybody can push barrow and get money to eat lunch, even 10years and 8 year does it. And this cannot bring change to your life. Now, you need to advance to getting better skills but until you resort to reasoning your way out there cannot be any change. That means you are still a child even if you are 40 years. This is where the hard work comes in, the hard work is:

·        Thinking out solution,

·        Devising means to meet your target

·        And taking proper action as required by the word of God

You can never amount to anything without God’s word as a Christian unless you like to struggle without result. And that is why it is written by strength and effort shall no man prevail.

Now, what is Laziness? Laziness is shortcut to destination, nobody wants to work hard, and you want to make it the today, no time to waste. Some say I need it so fast now and tomorrow am too long? As a result many destinies has crashed and collapsed on the way. That is why the grave has the greatest population of Stars of destinies that could not shine. In resorting to shortcut: a lot of people have engaged in some dangerous game that terminated their life before time. There are series of news of Nigerian Citizen Beheaded in Asia continent because of pushing of Drugs to make easy and quick money. Others female that engaged into international prostitution ended up curing themselves of STD infections and some of them are incurable which sent them to untimely dead. Still others engaged in armed robbery and are shot to death in the process. 419 is a thing of past today because if the nemesis of EFCC catch up with you, you are finished. Why not sit down and count the cost? The roads to sharp money today are full of thorns.

Locally, some wants to make their friends happy and wants to feel belonging; they will resort to illegal business like breaking of Fuel pipelines and internet SCAM business.

(2)       “The treasures gained by wickedness will be of no benefit

            But righteousness is what rescues from death.”

So many people are regretting of squandering their resources through frivolous life when they have not arrived to a particular career. This is why you must give the account of the money you spent carelessly. When the money that is supposed to be properly invested is spent carelessly due to laziness to think out solution, the after effect is stagnancy and abject poverty.

The men that are ruling the world today draw the plan through inspiration for example: before there was nothing like pure water sachet, but by the hard work of reasoning ability someone was inspired with the plan which looked stupid then, some said “how can one be selling water in sachet?” But today, it has become major solution to people living in Urban Metropolises. Today, pure water business is never a cheap business. People all over Nigeria are engaging in pure water sachet business both the manufacturing; distributing and retailing levels are now making money from the pure water business? Is it not better than mixing bags of cement, gravel and sand all in the name of concrete Job? And at the end of the day one begins to suffer headache, waist pain and backache as well as strains in the muscles, which leads to buying drugs N500.00 from N1500.00 you earned from mixing 5 bags of cement. The bible said that:

(15)     “The labour of the foolish werieth everyone of them,

because he knoweth not how to go the city”

Do you want to take over the city? Apply your reasoning ability. Some people use school as an excuse. It is not going to school that solve the problem. I know people that don’t go to any school but they are being taught how to read and write by their wives. Today they are doing fine because they reasoned well. Think of “Dangote” which university did he attend? His trading mentality and inspiration made him the richest business billionaire in Nigeria.

LAZINESS HAS QUALITIES AS SAID EARLIER:

(1)       GOSSIPING:  A lot of able bodied young men use gossiping as a means to butter their bread like paying house rent and children’s school fees.  Gossiping is good when you give the right and needed information that will enhance and improve the society. Not when you use mouth to bring others down in exchange of a peanut and you claim to be high. You are a lazy man, go and look into yourself. Fashion something for yourself because what you are doing is called glorified begging.

PROVERB 20:19

(19)     “A slanderer goes about revealing confidential talk

            Do not associate with one who loves gossip”

Why is he revealing those secret? Because of money, the bible said you should not associate with such a person unless you want to be like him/her. Note: There is no room for gossip to a busy mind.

(2)       GREED: This is another quality of a lazy man, he will always want everything for himself, as a result coveting everything both the one meant for him and others. How you know such a person is that he always likes to struggle for things another man started (Building in another Man’s Foundation). He does not have foundation of his own, when his friend or close relation start building on a land. He will go and inform the owner of the land or the seller that you are not the rightful owner of the land. And he will instigate the claimed rightful owner to recover the land.

This personality is an enemy of progress. He like to reap where he did not sow, he will use gossip and push one out of his/her position which he may not be qualified to handle only to end up indirectly demanding compensation for the wicked act he executed. That is glorified begging. Do not give him, let him go and do his business. A lazy man is a disgrace to His/her family and society at large. Cease from laziness.

PROVERB 20:21

(21)     “An inheritance obtained first by Greed will not

            Be a blessing in the end.

Yes, it is a punishment being greedy. This is why you should not struggle with no one’s position or gift because in the end it will turn to curse. Why? Because the blessing is not meant for you, you are not the original owner of the blessing. You are a photocopy.
