SECRETS

If God who created man in His own image and likeness can keep secret, what of you that is created in His likeness? Can’t you keep secret? Now, what is secret? A secret is something hidden from particular persons for a purpose like protection, prevention and control of crime or for peace to reign. Some secrets are kept to harm while some are kept to protect.

Proverb 25:2

(2)       “It is to the glory of God to keep a matter secret

            And to the glory of Kings is to search through the

Matter”

So, our God has secrets but revealed them through His prophet at the appointed time this to show you, that whatever secret one has must be revealed one day, now the question is “is it good to reveal secret?”No, it is not good to reveal secrets, especially to third party. Every secret you reveal before the appointed time can put the nations in serious war. For example, let’s use Nigeria as a nation: A Nigerian citizen that acquires American citizenship is not deem fit to participate in political Arena or hold position in Nigeria because he might become a sabotage and threat to Nigeria as a nation through conniving with Americans and reveal secrets especially in the ministry of defense which have to do with the security of the nation.

PROVERB 11:13

(13)     “A slanderer goes about revealing confidential talk,

            But the trust worthy person keeps a confidence”

On the other hand secret is good to reveal when it comes to tracking information about crime. To investigate a culprit (criminal) and bring him to book, which is the main job of Police Criminal Investigation Detective. Why God kept secret from man is so that man don’t get confuse about issues, the same God who kept the secret revealed it at appointed time through His prophets. The birth of messiah was revealed years back before Jesus was born (Isaiah 11:1-End). Even till date God has secrets, no one knows the day Jesus is coming even the hour. But signs were given to know in Luke 21: and Mathew 24. But the day and hour is the secret between the father and His son Jesus Christ.

God even has a secret place for His Citizens, which is the citizen of heaven. Of which the Devil and the kingdom of this world cannot understand or comprehend.

PSALM 91:1

“He that dwells in the secret place of the most high,

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”

Then, the question is “Where is the secret place of the most high? It takes the Holy Ghost to know it. The secret place of the most high is in the place of believe and accepting Jesus as your lord and personal savior. (Romans 10:9-10).

JOHN 1:12

(12)     “As many that receive Him to them has he given?

            The power to become the children of God”

The secret place of the Almighty is a state of believing in Jesus and obedient to the Holy Ghost, which is the realm of power.

COLLOSSIAN 3:1-3

(1)     If however, you were raised up with the Christ,

         Go on seeking the things above, where the Christ

         Is seated at the right hand of God 

(2)    Keep your mind fixed on the things above.

        Not on the things on the earth.

(3)  For you died, and your life has been hidden

      With the Christ in Union with God”

So Christ is your hiding place, and he is the secret place of the most High God.
