OBEDIENT IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE

ISAIAH 1:1-19

God is still sounding warning to his people, to deviate from their wicked ways. Though Jesus has shed his blood for the remission of sin is not a guarantee for anyone to continue indulging in immoral and wickedness of man. We are in a time the bible calls the last days. People are prone to committing atrocity because it is in the air. The prince of the power of the air that are having control in the children of disobedient is chiefly responsible for the last days wickedness.

EPHESIAN 2:2

(1)               “In which you at one time  walked according to the system

Of things of this world, according to ruler of the authority

Of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of

Disobedient”

This is what is responsible for the last days atrocity, according to 2 Timothy 3:1,

2 TIMOTHY 3:1

(1)               “But know this, that in the last days, critical times

Hard to deal with will be here.

(2)               For me will be lovers of money, boastful, haughty

blasphemers, disobedient, to parents, unthankful,

disloyal,

(3)               Having no natural affection, not open to any

Agreement, slanderers without self control fierce

Without love of goodness

(4)               Betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride,

Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

(5)               Having an appearance of godliness but proving

False to power and from these turn away”

But know that those that know their God shall be strong and do exploit irrespective of the forces in control of the atmosphere. Be different from what is happening around you, because you are purchased by the blood of the lamb Jesus Christ and  God’s warning today in the book of Isaiah is a warning to resort by obedient rather than sacrifice as God told King soul.

ISAIAH 1:11-19

(11)      “ Of what benefit to me are your many sacrifices?

            Says Jehovah

            “I have had enough of your burnt offering of rams

and fat of well-fed animals; And I have no delight

in the blood of young bulls and lambs and goat

(12)      When you come to appear before me who

Required this from you; this is trampling of

Court yards?

(13)      Stop bringing in any more worthless grain offerings

            Incense is detestable to me. New moon, Sabbaths,

the calling of convention, I cannot put up with

the use of magical power along with solemn assembly

(14)      I have hated your New Moon and your festival; they

            Have become a burden to me, I am tired of bearing

            them.

(15)      And when you spread out your  palms, I hide my eyes

            from you. Although you offer many prayer, I am not

            listening; your hands are filled with blood.

(16)      wash yourselves, make yourselves cleans; Remove

Your evil deeds from my sight. Stop doing bad.

(17)      Learn to do good, seek Justice, correct the oppressor

            Defend the rights of the fatherless child, And plead

            the cause of the widow”

(18)      Come now, and let us set matters straight between us

            Says the lord: “though your sin are like scarlet. They will

            Be made as white as snow. Though they are as red as

crimson clothe, they will become like wool.

(19)      If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of

            The land”

We can see that God is not so much interested in your abundance of sacrifices rather he is interested in your willingness to obey him. This is the center of your faith. the core faith is willingness to obey the Holy Ghost irrespective of the odds surrounding your situation. I want to let you know that God is interested in your Holiness by faith in Jesus Christ more than your fat offerings of Money, Car, Houses, etc.
