DIVINE ASSIGNMENT IS BACKED WITH DIVINE PROVISION

JOSHUA 1:1-9

There is nothing as dangerous as the one who is empowered to accomplish a divine assignment. This one is a tool or material for good in the hand of Almighty God. So was the state of Joshua. Everything divine is unstoppable and as a result it poses a dangerous events to the attackers of the same assignment. You don’t attack divine assignment or the one executing it lest you perish as it is written in:

ISAIAH 41:10

(10)      “Do not be afraid for I am with you, Do not be anxious,

            for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you.

            I will really hold on to you with my right hand of

righteousness.

(11)      Look! All those getting enraged against you will be

            put to shame and humiliated. Those who fight with

            You will be brought nothing and perish.

(12)      You will search for men who struggle with you,

            but you will not find them; The men at war with

you will become as something nonexistent, as

nothing at all”

God did not just empowered Joshua, he also backed him up with the rod of punishment against his opponent or anyone that will accuse him while executing that Assignment:

JOSHUA 1:5

(5)        “No one will be able to take a stand against you as long as

            You live. Just as I was with Moses, So I will be with you.

            I will neither desert you nor abandon you”

(6)        Be courageous and strong for you are the one

            who will cause this people to inherit the land

            that I swore to their forefathers I would give

            to them”

So, God is telling me and you today that even in the face of opposition, we have to be strong and courageous knowing that with God, we are more than conquerors. You don’t need to please anybody to get what you need for that assignment, God will provide it, the way you least expected all you need is to carry on with the divine plans Agenda. The provision is around the corner. When God asked Abraham to sacrifice His only Isaac, which ordinarily some of us will not do that, Abraham believed God and became strong to carry out the assignment at the dying minute God surfaced with the original provision set aside for that assignment which was a lamb.

The same God is telling me and you to do the something today, what is in your hand may be your only Isaac but God is telling you to make a step of faith with that thing in your hand. It may be your only Isaac in executing divine assignment God has given you. A proxy might surface at the dying minutes. Risk it and have it done or don’t risk it and lose it to the enemies. God is on your side, step out.
