FALSE PROPHETS

PROVERB 19:1-5

JEREMIAH 29:1-11

It is a very terrible thing these last days that many are claiming to be prophet while using illusion and divination to destroy one another. This is common in African nations where Voodoo powers and black magic are practiced as a means of witch craft. Using the medium in money making and extortion in the house of God; this group will tell you the opposite of your problem because they are confused. They will tell you that there is peace when calamity is on the way:

JEREMIAH 29:8

(1)               “For this what Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel says:

“Do not let your prophets and diviners who are among you

deceive you and do not listen to the dreams that they are

dreaming.

(2)               For they are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not

sent them declare Jehovah.”

We are in the world today where every personality claims to be a prophet, thereby saying things contrary to the Holy Ghost who is the great teacher and comforter of this our dispensation. And as a result causing confusion in the whole town or community of their resident, a prophet is an agent of peace and solution, but not an agent of calamity and war. Cease from your own wisdom; for our God is a God of peace and unity. And not a God of War and division:

JEREMIAH 29:7

(1)               “And seek the peace of the city to which I have exiled you,

and pray in its peace, you will have peace”

That means as a prophet claimed to be, if the city is at war you cannot have peace. When the truth is not appropriated, the result is war and Constant fraction among the people dwelling in it. This is why we must endeavor to pray for God’s people and ask for the truth to dominate so that they don’t bring  calamity to the land because they are the oracle of God. A prophet is the one that God will not do without.

PROVERB 19:1

(1)               “It is better to be poor and walk in integrity

Than to be stupid and speak lies”

Ignorant is a disease, it makes one looks stupid in the society. We claim to be prophet, yet without knowledge that distinguishes a man. If one run short of knowledge, such a person will always exhibit foolishness that may distort his ways or works of his hands and make him think that God is a wicked God and unrighteous judge? Let us learn to be loyal to God’s word. Because in being loyal to his word, the truth will be established in the land and there will be peace as a result of Unity.

JEREMIAH 29:11

(11)      “For I well know them thoughts that I am thinking towards you,

declares Jehovah thoughts of peace, and not of calamity to give

            you a future and hope”

Let us strife to embrace the truth and speak for peace to reign in the land.
