MINDING YOUR DIRECTION

JEREMIAH 14:1-END

The sin of Judah has brought calamity to the land. And their sin was wondering about. Unrestricted movement around the world; Look! Direction matters in life, as a child God you don’t decide to go anywhere you want on this planet earth without proper consultation and conclusion with your maker. This is why so many has lost their lives out of Ignorant, that position you are aspiring to occupy did God approve it? That country you want travel this year is it in God’s Agenda for your destiny? You have to consult God in any step you want to take in life. So you don’t make mistake and lose your life untimely.

It is only a bastard without family that keeps moving from place to place unrestricted as a destitute until such a person meet his/her misfortune one day. The same is applicable to the children of God. If you are part of this Kingdom of God, please always endeavor to seek permission by Holy Ghost before you move or dabble into an event. It is very vital. God is not a man, that he should become a liar; has He said it? So shall it be:

JEREMIAH 14:10

(10)      “This is what Jehovah says concerning this people

            They love to wonder about; they have not restrained

            their feet; So Jehovah finds no pleasure in them.

            Now he will remember their error and

            and call them to account for their sins”

Your journey to this Planet earth was not a mistake. So you have to utilize every opportunity given to you as a child of God to make your way straight. It is only an illegitimate son that God does not discipline and those are children of the world that are still under satanic influence.

JUDE 1:10-13

(10)      “But these men are speaking abusively about all the

things they really do not understand by instinct like

unreasoning animal, they go on corrupting themselves

(11)      Too bad for them, for they have followed the path of

            Cain and have rushed in to erroneous course of

Balaam for reward, and they have perished in the

rebellious talk of Korah!

(12)      These are the rocks hidden below water at your

            love feasts while they feast with you, shepherds

            who feed themselves without fear, waterless cloud

carried here and there by the wind; fruitless trees

in the late autumn, having died twice and have

been uprooted.”

(13)      Wild waves of the sea that cast up the foam of their own

            shame, stars with no set course, for which the blackest

darkness stand reserved forever”

Remember the story of Balaam, how his mission and direction was against the will of God , and Angel of the Lord stationed himself to slay him on his way to meet Balak because his direction was against the will of God. This happened even after God has approved his movement talk more of when God has not approved His movement.

NUMBERS 22:22

 (22)     “And God’s anger was kindled because he went: and

            The angel of the lord stood in the way for adversary

            against him upon his ass, and his  two servant were

with his two servant were with him”

The angel came to kill Balaam on the way to Balak because his direction was against the will of God even after taking permission from God twice and  God  granted him access to go and see Balak:

NUMBERS 22:12

(12)      “But God said to Balaam: you must not go with them.

            You must not curse the people, for they are blessed

(13)      Balaam got up in the morning and said to the princes

of Balak: “Go to your land, for Jehovah has refused to

let me go with you”

The second time Balak sent for him, God now granted him license to go with them but with a condition that he is not permitted to speak his own word except what God has given him speak:

NUMBERS 22:20

(20)      “Then God came to Balaam by night and said to him:

            If these men have come to summon you, go along

            With them; but you may speak only the words I

tell you to say”

See as a servant of God and child of the Kingdom, You don’t travel anyhow without proper consultation and approval from God by Holy Ghost, before you step out ask God for direction. There should be time for everything. This is why the presence of Holy Ghost in one’s life is very important; ask God questions by Holy Ghost, don’t dabble into business and other things he did not approve for you. Even after God has approved Balaam’s direction, he still sent angel to wage him on the way because his direction was contrary to God’s will and because he took permission God has to instruct him on what to do when He gets to Balaam. So every step you are taking against God has a definite instruction backing if the step is contrary to God’s will for your life. Try to locate hear the instruction through the Holy Ghost:

NUMBERS 22:32-33

(32)      “Then Jehovah’s angel said to him: “why have you beaten

            Your donkey three times!? I myself came out to offer

resistance, because your way is defiance of my will

(33)      The donkey saw me and tried to turn away from

            me these three times; supposing it had not turned away

            from me by now I would have killed you, and let the

Donkey live” 

Look when you are walking with God watch prayerfully, your security is insured, you need security first. So that you will be alive to fulfill God’s purpose for your life on planet earth and that is why divine direction will be a critical and our subsequent critical study as a volume of books.
