ISAIAH 61:1-END
God said that today
He is about to punish injustice acts and corrupt practices of daughter of Babylon
whom are seen as a delicate woman; as she ceases divination and unjust spirit medium
to perpetrate injustice and corruption in the society which God had ceaselessly
warned her in diverse means but today God had vowed to disgrace her wickedness
and promotes His servant as well:
ISAIAH
47:1-11
(1) “Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter
of
Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne,
O daughter
of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt
no more be
called tender and delicate.
(2) Take
the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy
locks,
make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass
over the
rivers.
(3) Thy
nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame
shall be
seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not
meet thee
as a man.
(4) As
for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name,
the Holy
One of Israel.
(5) Sit
thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter
of the
Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The
lady of
kingdoms.
(6) I
was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine
inheritance,
and given them into thine hand: thou didst
shew them
no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very
heavily
laid thy yoke.
(7) And
thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that
thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither
didst
remember the latter end of it.
(8) Therefore
hear now this, thou that art given to
pleasures,
that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in
thine
heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall
not sit as
a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
(9) But
these two things shall come to thee in a moment in
one day, the loss of children, and widowhood:
they shall
come upon
thee in their perfection for the multitude of
thy
sorceries, and for the great abundance of
thine
enchantments.
(10) For
thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast
said, None
seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge,
it hath
perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine
heart, I
am, and none else beside me.
(11) Therefore
shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not
know from
whence it riseth: and mischief”
shall fall
upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off:
and
desolation shall come upon thee suddenly,
which thou
shalt not know.”
Just
as God is punishing the wickedness of daughter of Babylon, He is about to
promote the justice of His servants in the society:
ISAIAH
61:6-8
(6) “But
ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD:
men shall
call you the Ministers of our God: ye
shall eat
the riches of the Gentiles, and in their
glory
shall ye boast yourselves.
(7) For
your shame ye shall have double; and for
confusion
they shall rejoice in their portion:
therefore
in their land they shall possess the
double:
everlasting joy shall be unto them.
(8) For
I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery
for burnt
offering; and I will direct their work in
truth, and
I will make an everlasting covenant
with them.”
This is what God will do because He had
commissioned you as His servant to push the gospel to the utter most part of
the earth:
ISAIAH
61:1-5
(1) “The
Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the
LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings
unto
the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted
, to
proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the
prison to
them that are bound;
(2) To
proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the
day of
vengeance of our God; to comfort all
that mourn;
(3) To
appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto
them
beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the
garment of
praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they
might be
called trees of righteousness, the planting of
the LORD,
that he might be glorified.
(4) And
they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up
the former
desolations, and they shall repair the waste
cities,
the desolations of many generations.
(5) And
strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and
the sons
of the alien shall be your plowmen and your
vinedressers.”
God said that He will frustrate the efforts
and oppression of the wicked today as well as establish justice and
righteousness in the Land:
ISAIAH 44:24-28
(24) “Thus
saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he
that
formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD
that
maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the
heavens
alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth
by myself;
(25) That
frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and
maketh
divinersmad; that turneth wise men
backward,
and maketh their knowledge foolish;
(26) That
confirmeth the word of his servant, and
performeth
the counsel of his messengers; that
saith to
Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and
to the
cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I
will raise
up the decayed places thereof:
(27) That
saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry
up thy
rivers:
(28) That
saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall
perform
all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem,
Thou shalt
be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation
shall be
laid."
So today, you will not be left out because God
had decided to end your case in your favor in Jesus name. Amen.
