ISAIAH 44:1-END
Anger remains the
material that the Devil ceases to exalt his throne; controlling this nature in
a man is the best medicine to arrogance and pride. In fact anger and hot temper
remains the main instigator of pride and disunity. So, today you are expected
to keep your temper under control because the Devil must use someone close to
you to unjustly provoke this nature in you. So today, subject your body under
control. You don’t need to be some other persons; just be yourself and take
absolutely control of your heart with the word of God because every provocation
starts from the heart.
PROVERB
4:23
(23) “Above all the things that you guard,
safeguard
Your heart, for out of it are the
sources of life”
So when your heart is captured by anger; your
body will react to the resulting nature of the enemy which is pride. The pride
here is the action that accompanied the anger. But when anger is suppressed and
swallowed, pride is condemned and humility is exalted:
PROVERB 15:1-5
(1) “A mild
answer turns away rage; but a harsh
Word
stirs up anger
(2) The
tongue of the wise makes good use of
Knowledge
But the mouth of the stupid
blurt out foolishness
(3) The
eyes of Jehovah are everywhere watching both
the
bad and the good
(4) A calm
tongue is a tree of life; but twisted
speech causes despair”
(5) A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he
that regardeth reproof is prudent.
(6) In the house of the righteous is much
treasure:
but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
(7) The lips of the wise disperse knowledge:
but
the heart of the foolish doeth not so.”
So
today, you are expected to address every issue with mildness, considering other
people’s feelings towards issues makes it easier for you to make an amendment
to anger:
PROVERB
16:32
(32) “He that is slow to anger is better than the
mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh
a city.”
It
is better to trust in God ; than to quarrel with men over issues that are not
meant to be serious ground for quarrelling. Trust God for whatever you desire
to make life easy, as you work towards achieving them because when one door
closes another seven is about to open, only when you hold unto God in trust.
PROVERB
16:16-18
(16) “How
much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and
to get understanding rather to be chosen than
silver!
(17) The
highway of the upright is to depart from evil:
he that
keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
(18) Pride
goeth before destruction, and an haughty
spirit before a fall.”
As
a servant of God; you are expected to apply the wisdom of God in your affairs
today to conquer self. As God is about to open doors that no one can shut:
ISAIAH
44: 1-5
(1) “Yet
now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel,
whom I
have chosen:
(2) Thus
saith the LORD that made thee, and formed
thee from
the womb, which will help thee; Fear
not, O
Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun,
whom I
have chosen.
(3) For
I will pour water upon him that is thirsty,
and floods
upon the dry ground: I will pour my
spirit
upon thy seed, and my blessing upon
thine
offspring:
(4) And
they shall spring up as among the grass, as
willows by
the water courses.
(5) One
shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall
call himself
by the name of Jacob; and another shall
subscribe
with his hand unto the LORD, and surname
himself by
the name of Israel.”
Today I see peace
in your atmosphere, as you control the rage of anger the enemy is about to use
against you. Remain blessed as you embrace humility.
