ISAIAH 14:1-END
PROVERB
16:1-END
Today God is about to punish every
form of disobedient of Kings out of pride of life as inherited traits or
attributes. God said that He is doing this because of what their fore fathers
did wrong which is still attributes extending to today’s dispensation. People
no more regard God and His Holy place which is the house of God and as a
result; God is out to punish prideful attitudes and arrogant speeches:
ISAIAH 14:10-17
(1)
All
they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou
also become weak
as we? art thou become like
unto us?
(11)
“Thy
pomp is brought down to the grave, and
the
noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under
thee, and the worms cover thee.
(12)
How
art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut
down to the
ground, which
didst weaken the nations!
(13)
For
thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into
heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the
stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount
of
the congregation, in the sides of the north:
(14)
I
will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will
be like the most High.
(15)
Yet
thou shalt be brought down to hell, to
the
sides of the pit.
(16)
They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee,
and
consider thee, saying, Is this the man
that made the
earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
So today the
prideful attitudes of King of Babylon will be disgraced because he had
determined in His heart to be wicked and arrogant; God said He will humble him
to understand that the Most High still exist , because He does not share His
glory with any man; and God said that it is an inherited quality He needs to drop.
(17) “That made the world as a wilderness, and
destroyed
the cities thereof; that opened
not
the house of his prisoners?
(18) All the kings of the nations, even all of
them,
lie
in glory, every one in his own house.
(19) But thou art cast out of thy grave like an
abominable
branch, and as the raiment
of
those that are slain, thrust through with
a
sword, that go down to the stones of the
pit;
as a carcase trodden under feet.
(20) Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial,
because
thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain
thy
people: the seed of evildoers shall never
be
renowned.
(21) Prepare slaughter for his children for the
iniquity
of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor
possess
the land, nor fill the face of the
world
with cities.
(22) For I will rise up against them, saith the
LORD
of
hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name,
and
remnant, and son, and nephew, saith
the
LORD.
(23) I will also make it a possession for the
bittern,
and
pools of water: and I will sweep it with the
besom
of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.”
There is nothing
dangerous as pride and arrogance which is the lamp of the wicked; it kills and
destroys one in an twinkling of an eye as specified in (Psalm 73:19-20):
ISAIAH 45:9-12
(9) “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker!
Let
the potsherd strive with the potsherds
of
the earth. Shall the clay say to him that
fashioneth
it, What makest thou? or thy
work,
He hath no hands?
(10) Woe unto him that saith unto his father,
What
begettest thou? or to the woman,
What hast thou brought forth?
(11) Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel,
and
his Maker, Ask me of things to come
concerning
my sons, and concerning the
work
of my hands command ye me.
(12) I have made the earth, and created man
upon
it: I, even my hands, have stretched
out
the heavens, and all their host have I
commanded.”
So today God is
about to punish everything called pride in your life and in my life. And this
is the centre of today’s message:
PROVERB 16:5
(5) “Every
one that is proud in heart is an abomination
to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he
shall
not
be unpunished.”
Amongst all the
kings on earth; the king of Babylon remains the most prideful, wicked and
arrogant Kings. This quality attracted God’s punishment that made him turn to a
beast and ate grass with the beasts of the forest for seven years. And when he
became humble; God restored Him:
PROVERB 16:18-19
(18) “Pride goeth before destruction, and an
haughty
spirit before a fall.
(19) Better it is to be of an humble spirit with
the
lowly, than to divide the spoil with
the
proud.”
So today also God
is about to reward and restore somebody because of humility as an inherited
attributes. God said that He will reward the humility of your fore fathers through
you today:
ISAIAH
45:1-4
(1)
“This is what
Jehovah says to his anointed Cyrus.
Whose right hand I have taken hold of
To subdue nations before him,
To disarm Kings
To open before him the double doors;
So that the gates will not be shut
(2)
Before you I
will go, and the hills I will level
The Copper doors I will break in pieces
And the iron bars I will cut down
(3)
I will give
you the treasures in the darkness
And the hidden treasures in the concealed
Places, so that you may know that I am
Jehovah. The God of Israel who is calling
You by name”
(4) For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel
mine
elect,
I have even called thee by thy name:
I have surnamed thee, though thou hast
not
known me.”
So today God is
about to remember and reward the humility of your fathers by your own humility.
