DRAW NEAR TO LISTEN RATHER THAN MAKE SACRIFICES OF A FOOL ISAIAH 55:1-END

ECCLESIASTES 5:1-END

ISAIAH 36:1-END

The reasons and motive behind why you go to the house of God is what will prove to the people at the end of the day whom you are; because the motive behind your visit to church everyday or every Sunday must surely manifest one day for people to know and be aware of what you do when you go to church. Whether you are practicing idolatry of trusting men or idolatry of politics in the church; so today in a nutshell why you visit the church must surly tell on you weather for good or for bad:

ISAIAH 55:1-7

(1)     “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,

and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea,

come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

(2)     Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not

bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is

good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

(3)     Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your

soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting

covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

(4)     Behold, I have given him for a witness to the

people, a leader and commander to the people.

(5)     Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest

not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto

thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy

One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

(6)     Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon

him while he is near:

(7)     Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous

man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD,

and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God,

for he will abundantly pardon.”

It is better you go to the church to hear the bitter truth of the gospel rather than going there to contribute foolishness or foolish ideas that may destroy you and your hearers. And this is why a church should not be a ground for playing politics rather it should be a ground for preaching and sharing the truth about the gospel. This is also why when the truth is not preached in a church, you need to look for a place where the bitter truth of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is being preached and shared, not where they preach heresies; and it is foolishness to contribute heresies to a church, especially in making too many sacrifices thinking you can buy God with that money to detriment of obedient to the word of God:

ECCLESIASTES 5: 1-7

(1)     “Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God,

and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice

of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

(2)     Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine

heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for

God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore

let thy words be few.

(3)     For a dream cometh through the multitude of

business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude

of words.

(4)     When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay

it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which

thou hast vowed

(5)     Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that

thou shouldest vow and not pay.

(6)     Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin;

neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error

: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and

destroy the work of thine hands?

(7)     For in the multitude of dreams and many words

there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God. “

This is why God had position the authorities like the offices of Apostle, Prophets, Evangelist, Teachers and pastors for the edification of the Church. so when these ones are in place in the body of Christ. You need not go there and contribute foolishness because they will not give room to entertain such ideas. And this is another root of calamity in the land and in the church where people wants to assume the authorities of the church by sanction:

ECCLESIASTES 5: 8-10

(8)     “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent

perverting of judgment and justice in a province,

marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than

the highest regardeth; and therebe higher than they.

(9)     Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king

himself is served by the field.

(10)   He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver;

nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is

also vanity.”

There is no way we can buy the gift and duties of ministry with money. If money is the qualities for assuming the position; everyone would have become ministers of the gospel, even those that used money in the past were frustrated by divine angels talk more of those that are not gifted and called to the service. They face frustration alike. So you are advised to  go to the church to listen rather than contribute to foolishness.

The King of Assyria contributed foolishness towards King Hezekiah’s service to God by offending the living God out of ignorant and he died by sword at the end of the day in his own land; he was killed by his own son.

ISAIAH 36:14-22

(14)   “Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you:

for he shall not be able to deliver you.

(15)   Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD,

saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city

shall not be delivered into the hand of the king

of Assyria.

(16)   Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king

of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a

present, and come out to me: and eat ye every

one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and

drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;

(17)   Until I come and take you away to a land like your

own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread

and vineyards.

(18)   Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, the

LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of

the nations delivered his land out of the hand

of the king of Assyria?

(19)   Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad?

where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have

they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

(20)   Who are they among all the gods of these lands,

that have delivered their land out of my hand,

that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out

of my hand?

(21)   But they held their peace, and answered him not a

word: for the king's commandment was, saying,

Answer him not.

(22)   Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that was over

the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah,

the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah with

their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.”

Just like the King of Assyria, today don’t let what you have push you to grow wings and make sacrifices like a fool thinking you can buy God with your wealth to that you can control the Church Authorities with your money. Mind your words. Remain Blessed.
