JEREMIAH 22:1-END
JEREMIAH 30:1-END
ISAIAH 24:1-END
There is nothing powerful as covenant
of God’s promises to His servants in the past. This is what speaks for descendants
when calamity strikes. Whenever God remembers the covenant He made to His
servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob renewed by the covenant in the blood of Jesus
Christ; He will have a change of mind towards what He had planned to execute:
HEBREW
12:24
(24) “And
to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to
the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that
that of Abel.”
Therefore
today God had promised to avert His punishment for injustice to Israel;
especially the wickedness of daughters of His people who always provoke Him
with their idolatry of trusting men. God said that He will restore Israel today
for the sake of His promises to their fathers and subject their enemies to the
bondage they envisioned for them:
JEREMIAH
30:12-18
(12) “For
thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and
thy wound is grievous.
(13) There
is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be
bound up:
thou hast no healing medicines.
(14) All
thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not;
for
I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy,
with
the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude
of
thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
(15) Why
criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow
is
incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity:
because
thy sins were increased, I have done
these
things unto thee.
(16) Therefore
all they that devour thee shall be
devoured;
and all thine adversaries, every one
of them,
shall go into captivity; and they that
spoil thee
shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon
thee will
I give for a prey.
(17) For
I will restore health unto thee, and I will
heal thee
of thy wounds, saith the LORD;
because they
called thee an Outcast, saying,
This is
Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
(18) Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring
again the
captivity of Jacob's tents, and have
mercy on
his dwellingplaces; and the city shall
be builded
upon her own heap, and the palace shall
remain
after the manner thereof.”
The wickedness of Israel and Judah had made
God to turn His face against them; and as a result terrible calamity was about
befalling Israel but God in his infinite mercy had intervened to restore
justice and peace for the sake of His servants of old.
JEREMIAH 22:21-30
(21) “I
spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst,
I will not
hear. This hath been thy manner from thy
youth,
that thou obeyedst not my voice.
(22) The
wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers
shall go
into captivity: surely then shalt thou
be
ashamed
and confounded for all thy wickedness.
(23) O
inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in
the
cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs
come upon
thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!
(24) As
I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son
of
Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon
my right
hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;
(25) And
I will give thee into the hand of them that seek
thy life,
and into the hand of them whose face thou
fearest ,
even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king
of
Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
(26) And
I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare
thee, into
another country, where ye were not born;
and there
shall ye die.
(27) But
to the land whereunto they desire to return,
thither
shall they not return.
(28) Is
this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a
vessel
wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they
cast out,
he and his seed, and are cast into a land
which they
know not?
(29) O
earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
(30) Thus
saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless,
a man that
shall not prosper in his days: for no
man of his
seed shall prosper, sitting upon the
throne of
David, and ruling any more in Judah.”
Today God is calling for justice and peace to
less privileged. And God said that He is about to bring changes to this
category in the land; this forms the route of confusion and trouble because a
change is about to take place:
JEREMIAH 22:1-4
(1) “Thus
saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the
king of
Judah, and speak there this word,
(2) And
say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of
Judah,
that sittest upon the throne of David, thou
, and thy
servants, and thy people that enter in by
these
gates:
(3) Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and
righteousness,
and deliver the spoiled out of the
hand of
the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no
violence
to the stranger, the fatherless, nor
the widow,
neither shed innocent blood in this place.
(4) For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter
in by the
gates of this house kings sitting upon the
throne of
David, riding in chariots and on horses,
he, and
his servants, and his people.”
Today God will separate the chaff from
original and as a result; every curse that is holding His people will be broken
today. And this is the route of calamity and trouble in the land because a change
must take place. Remain blessed.
