ISAIAH 17:1-END
ISAIAH 14:1-END
It had already been
written that by strength shall no man prevail. And as a result; it remains a
very dangerous issue to trust and pride about what one can achieve or have
achieved with exerting effort to detriment of God’s grace made available to
everyone. The grace of God should be our center for boasting in trust:
I CORINTHIAN
1:28-31
(1)
“And base
things of the world, and things which are
despised,
hath God chosen, yea, and things which
are not, to bring to nought things that are:
(29) That no flesh should glory in his presence.
(30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God
is
made
unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification,
and redemption:
(31) That, according as it is written, He that
glorieth,
let
him glory in the Lord.”
The
rules to glory and success in the kingdom of heaven is not the same to the
Kingdom of this world. In the Kingdom of heaven, God chooses the insignificant
things, things despised by men to put the world to shame. This why as a child
of God, God reduce you to Zero, so that there won’t be any atom of self and
pride that will destroy you as it
happened to Lucifer being the Devil. That is why humility remains the key to
moving forward in this Kingdom:
ISAIAH
17:7-10
(7) “In
that day man will look up to his maker,
And
his eyes will gaze at the Holy one of Israel
(8) He will
not look to the altars, the work of his
Hands,
and he will not gaze at what his fingers
Have
made, either the sacred poles or the
incense stands.
(9) In that
day his fortress cities will become like
an abandoned site in the
wood land” like a
branch that was abandoned
before Israelites
it will become a wasteland.
(10) For you
have forgotten the God of Salvation
You
have failed to remember the rock of your
fortress that is why you
planted beautiful
plantations, And set it with
the shout of
stranger”
When
you fail to attribute glory to God through thanksgiving for what He had already
done for you; your expectations will dry up or will hang because appreciation
through praises remains the key to abundance in this kingdom. When you thank
God especially through praises, the earth will yield her increase to you:
PSALM
67:5-6
(1)
“Let the
people praise thee, O God; let all the people
praise thee.
(2)
Then shall
the earth yield her increase; and God,
even our own God, shall bless us.”
So not praising
God is pride per excellence; it is a sign of self egocentric. God is ever ready
to respond to the needs of those that will show appreciation for what He had
done already. So stop complaining and start praising and thanking Him because
complaint and boast in self effort can be dangerous.
ISAIAH
14:12-20
(1)
“How art
thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,
son of the morning! how art thou cut
down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!
(2)
For thou
hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the
stars
of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the
north:
(14) I
will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will be like the most
High.
(15) Yet
thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides
of the pit.
(16) They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and
consider
thee, saying, Is this the man
that made
the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;”
So
today, learn to thank God and boast in what your effort can do for God and not for yourself, before you know
it, your change will emerge:
JEREMIAH 9:23 -24
(23) “Thus
saith the LORD, Let not the wise man
glory in
his wisdom, neither let the mighty man
glory in his
might, let not the rich man glory in
his
riches:
(24) But
let him that glorieth glory in this, that he
understandeth
and knoweth me, that I am the
LORD which
exercise lovingkindness, judgment,
and
righteousness, in the earth: for in these
things I
delight, saith the LORD.”
As
you comply to these rule by Holy Ghost I see a change coming your ways in Jesus
