The International Passports are to be produced
locally to conserve foreign exchange; the Controller General Nigerian
Immigration Service MR. MOHAMMADU BABADENDE
made this known in an interview with the news men during an awesome
formation in Semi Border.
According to the correspondence that reports that MR. MOHAMMADU BABADENDE explained procuring
the travelling document internationally are built up and was expensive, hence
planned by the government to source it locally. MR. MOHAMMADU BABANDENDE also
stated that the service was put in place to rhyme with the regulation that
will ensure proper documentation of people from neighboring West African
Country to eliminate problem of lawless behavior of some foreigners in Nigeria.
According to him, he also said that they have already made a regulation to this
with the Minister of Justice in Nigeria to make it mandatory for all non Nigerian
citizens to sign and be issued such passport in case of any violation of
Justice.
The controller General later paid a courtesy visit to the AKRAN OF BADAGRY, HIS ROYAL MAJESTY DIWENU
AWOLU MENTEYI THE 1ST . MR. MOHAMMADU BABADENDE also promised
the traditional ruler that his men will work in collaboration with the
community. The Akran of Badagry also appealed for a passport office to be
opened in Badagry, Lagos state Nigeria.
Also the minister of information and culture had identified
the delay in the issuance of Visa, insecurity, poor road and Air port
facilities as well as lack of custom to regulate electricity supply as a
factors frustrating government effort of boosting Nigerian Tourism in
districts. The Minister for information and culture AHLJI LYE MOHAMMED announce this in Abuja at the Budget defense;
before the Senate committee on Information and Culture.
According to the correspondent report who said that AHLJI LYE MOHAMMED cautioned that
unless the ministries concerned with the factors impede in the growing of Tourism
industries gains special attention to tacking them; the industries will not try
as desired. He told the committee that if Nigerian chosen industries could be
developed to taste of the international community. The revenue derived from it
alone could substantially ruin down from crippling economy. The minister
however said his ministry alone could be what boost Tourism and generate
revenue derivable from it in collaboration with other ministries in his private
sector. He also said that government realized that his ministry alone could not
develop the industry and therefore set up the presidential counsel and Tourism
comprising all the relevant ministries to work out a modalities for enhancement
but complained that the committee set up eleven years ago start only once.

that he needed no time study and makes the necessary alteration.
