ISAIAH 19:1-END
Today calamity
strikes the land because of disobedient to God’s instruction and direction
through His servant. God is about sending gallant spiritual soldiers to come
and punish every form of disobedient to His word; ranging from the church
premises to the world. God is not happy when injustice is prevailing over
affairs of man.
JEREMIAH
26:1-6
(1) “In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim
the
son
of Josiah king of Judah came this word from
the
LORD, saying,
(2) Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of
the
LORD's
house, and speak unto all the cities of
Judah,
which come to worship in the LORD's
house,
all the words that I command thee to
speak
unto them; diminish not a word:
(3 )If so be they will hearken, and turn
every man
from
his evil way, that I may repent me of the
evil,
which I purpose to do unto them because
of
the evil of their doings.
(4) And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith
the
LORD;
If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in
my
law, which I have set before you,
(5) To hearken to the words of my servants the
prophets,
whom I sent unto you, both rising up
early,
and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
(6) Then will I make this house like Shiloh,
and will
make
this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.”
Now,
one may ask what brings about this calamity. Disobedient; people are prone to
rebel against God’s servant’s instruction, imagine how they intended to waste
Prophet Jeremiah for speaking the truth to them:
JEREMIAH
26:8-11
(8) “Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had
made
an
end of speaking all that the LORD had
commanded
him to speak unto all the people,
that
the priests and the prophets and all the
people
took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
(9) Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the
LORD,
saying, This house shall be like Shiloh,
and
this city shall be desolate without an
inhabitant?
And all the people were gathered against
Jeremiah
in the house of the LORD.
(10) When the princes of Judah heard these things,
then
they
came up from the king's house unto the house
of
the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new
gate
of the LORD's house.
(11) Then spake the priests and the prophets unto
the
princes
and to all the people, saying, This
man
is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied
against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.”
There
is nothing that attracts calamity and confusion like injustice, especially in
the Holy place which is the church or house of God; and God will not relent to
punish it:
JEREMIAH
6:8-14
(8) “Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my
soul depart
from
thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.
(9) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall thoroughly
glean
the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine
hand
as a grape gatherer into the baskets.
(10) To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that
they
may
hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and
they
cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is
unto
them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
(11) Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD;
I am
weary
with holding in: I will pour it out
upon
the children abroad, and upon the assembly of
young
men together: for even the husband with the wife
shall
be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
(12) And their houses shall be turned unto others,
with their
fields
and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand
upon
the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
(13) For from the least of them even unto the
greatest of
them
every one is given to covetousness; and from the
prophet
even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
(14) They have healed also the hurt of the
daughter of my
people
slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no
peace.”
The church has remained a place for practices
of injustice and corruption in these last days which triggers God’s anger and
Jealousy because the motive of service had been diverted to idolatry practices.
You cannot serve God in disguise and receive reward for your service today,
everybody had claimed the pulpit as the white Kola Job. It is injustice to the highest
order, if you are such a person desist from the wickedness and lay hands on
something doing, even in your privacy fashion out some profit making duties for
yourself and for others it is permitted instead of practicing extortion and
fraud. The time for this nonsense has gone. So this is root of calamity that is
about to strike the land:
JEREMIAH 6:15-19
(15) “Were they ashamed when they had committed
abomination?
nay, they were not at all ashamed,
neither
could they blush: therefore they shall fall
among
them that fall: at the time that I visit them
they
shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
(16) Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways,
and
see,
and ask for the old paths, where is the
good
way, and walk therein, and ye shall find
rest
for your souls. But they said, We will not
walk
therein.
(17) Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken
to
the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We
will
not hearken.
(18) Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O
congregation,
what is among them.
(19) Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon
this
people, even the fruit of their thoughts,
because
they have not hearkened unto my
words,
nor to my law, but rejected it.”
Today, every calamity and confusion in the
land is traceable to disobedient to God’s voice and direction out of selfishness
and evil purpose. But God is about to punish and bring it to rest”
JEREMIAH 6:22-30
(22) “Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh
from
the north country, and a great nation shall
be
raised from the sides of the earth.
(23) They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they
are cruel,
and
have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea;
and
they ride upon horses, set in array as men for
war
against thee, O daughter of Zion.
(24) We have heard the fame thereof: our hands
wax
feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and
pain,
as of a woman in travail.
(25) Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the
way;
for
the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.
(26) O daughter of my people, gird thee with
sackcloth,
and
wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning,
as
for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for
the
spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
(27) I have set thee for a tower and a fortress
among
my
people, that thou mayest know and try their way.
(28) They are all grievous revolters, walking with
slanders:
they are brass and iron; they are all
corrupters.
(29) The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed
of
the
fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the
wicked
are not plucked away.
(30) Reprobate silver shall men call them, because
the
LORD
hath rejected them”.
Today, If You will listen to His voice and obey;
Calamity will be far from your territory. Remain blessed.
