PRVERB 15:1-END
People who in search
of refuge and security had out of ignorant abandoned the living God to the
benefits of Baal and images; this is a wicked act and abomination to the living
God. The worst of all is that they resort to a beggarly attitude of making
mundane thing the last resort for their existence. This had triggered the anger
of God to destroy remnants that are ignorant of looking up to men for safety
and sustenance. Today, you are the one
whom God is calling to set things in order. But if you stand the chance of
making things work God’s glory and for the expansion of His Kingdom to
detriment of trust in men, a change of glory and level is about to emerge for
you.
ISAIAH
44:10-21
(10) “Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven
image that is
profitable for nothing?
(11) Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and
the workmen,
they
are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them
stand
up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed
together.
(12) The smith with the tongs both worketh in the
coals, and
fashioneth
it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength
of
his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he
drinketh
no water, and is faint.
(13) The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh
it out with
a
line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with
the
compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man,
according
to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in
the
house.
(14) He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the
cypress
and
the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among
the
trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain
doth
nourish it.
(15) Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he
will take thereof,
and
warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread;
yea,
he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a
graven
image, and falleth down thereto.
(16) He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part
thereof he
eateth
flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he
warmeth
himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have s
een
the fire:
(17) And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even
his graven
image:
he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and
prayeth
unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
(18) They have not known nor understood: for he
hath shut their
eyes,
that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they
cannot
understand.
(19) And none considereth in his heart, neither is
there
knowledge
nor understanding to say, I have burned part
of
it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the
coals
thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and
shall
I make the residue thereof an abomination?
shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
(20) He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath
turned him
aside,
that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not
a
lie in my right hand?
(21) Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou
art my
servant:
I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O
Israel,
thou shalt not be forgotten of me.”
Today, God is about to punish
everything called idolatry which people will cease to make false profits and
riches that does not stand the test of God’s fire through His word. Every dishonest
profit is liable to punishment:
PROVERB 13:11
(11) “Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but
he that gathereth by labour shall increase.”
Why does it vanish away? It is because it
cannot stand the trials that come to test everything good built. When a thing
is built, there is evil wind That comes to try it, if it is not built based on
the fire of word of God , the evil wind will sweep it away. This is a natural occurrence
to everything good one is about to achieve.
MATHEW 7:24-27
(24) “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of
mine,
and
doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man,
which
built his house upon a rock:
(25) And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and
the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell
not:
for it was founded upon a rock.
(1)
And every
one that heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them
not, shall be likened unto a foolish man,
which
built his house upon the sand:
(2)
And the
rain descended, and the floods came, and
the winds
blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell:
and great
was the fall of it.”
So, you
can see we cannot cheat God because everything you possess has a season and
time for trial just as Solomon said in Ecclesiastes:
ECCLESIASTES
9:11-12
(11) “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the
race is not to
the
swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to
the
wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet
favour
to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth
to
them all.
(12) For man also knoweth not his time: as the
fishes that
are
taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught
in
the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time,
when
it falleth suddenly upon them.”
But we
should not give room to chances by adhering to God’s instruction through His
word. So today, God is about to puncture the root of everything built on
Idolatry practices which is artificial and lies
ISAIAH
44:25-28
(25) “That
frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh
diviners mad;
that turneth wise men backward, and
maketh
their knowledge foolish;
(26) That
confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth
the
counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem,
Thou shalt
be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye
shall be
built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
(27) That
saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
(28) That
saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform
all my
pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be
built; and
to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid. “
So today
God is about to frustrate everything called dishonest gain through Idolatry
practices:
JEREMAIAH
19:3-5
(3) “And
say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings
of Judah,
and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus
saith the
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold,
I will
bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever
heareth,
his ears shall tingle.
(4) Because
they have forsaken me, and have estranged
this
place, and have burned incense in it unto other
gods, whom
neither they nor their fathers have known
, nor the
kings of Judah, and have filled this place
with the
blood of innocents;
(5) They
have built also the high places of Baal, to burn
their sons
with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which
I
commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my
mind:”
God will
do this His servants, you are called to hearken to God’s word through his
servants; you are not called to beggarly attitude of trusting men but to
believe in the living God by His word through His Son Jesus Christ.
