ISAIAH
1:1-END
ECCLESIASTES
5:1-END
PSALM
104:1-END
In all we do in life justice must have its full course
for us to live a glorious and fulfilled destiny lest disastrous is the order of
the years on earth. To this point we centre our discussion on justice in all we
do. People are prone to doing evil and as a result they have resorted to
sacrifices in order to ameliorate the anger of God. Yes, sacrifices are good
but it is not priority and delights. God still prefer obedient to his words
than all these things. More especially in the housed of God; people will choose
sacrifices as means to promote rebellion. Someone will go into 60 days fasting
and prayer as well as sacrificial giving to the detriment of their obedient to
word of God. That is witch craft and wickedness to the highest order.
ECCLESIAITES 5:1
(1) “Watch your step whenever
you go to the house of God
It is better
to draw near to listen than to give a sacrifice
As stupid ones
do, for they are not aware that what they
re doing is
bad”
The house of God till date remains
a place of worship; not a centre for marketing or sales neither is it a place
of leisure activities but a place for praises and worship to God in truth and in
spirit. People have today turned the house of God to a place to fight for human
right and a place to promote career investment. The house of God should be a
palace for security and favour. A place to exchange contact for holy brethren
in times of need; This is why justice remains priority for a solid foundation
in the house of God; it surpasses
sacrifices. A church, that is built on a foundation of justice endures and
withstands the pressure from gates of hell because of its unity of faith and
purpose:
ISAIAH 1:10-17
(10) “Hear the word of Jehovah, you dictators of
Sodom
Pay attention to the law of our God, you people
of
Gommorrah
(11) Of what benefit to me
are your many sacrifice?”
Says
Jehovah “ I have had enough of your burnt
Offerings of rams and the fat of well fed
animals
And I have no delight in the blood of
young bulls
And lambs and goats
(1)
“When you come to appear before me who has required
This from you;
this trampling to my courtyard?
(2)
Stop bringing in any more worthless grain offerings
Your incense
is detestable to me, New moon, Sabbaths,
The calling of
conventions; I cannot put up with the
use of magical
power along with solemn assembly
(3)
I have hated your new moon and festivals, they
Have become a
burden to me; I am tired of bearing
Them
(4)
And when you spread out your palms; I hide my eyes
From you
Although you
offer many prayers; I am not listening
Your hands are
filled with blood
(5)
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove your
evil deeds from my sight
Stop doing bad
(6)
Learn to do good and seek justice; correct the oppressor
Defend the
right of the fatherless child
And plead the cause
of the widow”
God will not relent to
reward justice; in all we do as children of God. So let us embrace justice as a
priority to the detriment of sacrifices. As this will form a solid foundation
that cannot be shaken; Remain blessed.
