SONGS
OF SOLOMON 3:1-END
ISAIAH
47:1-END
It is the wisdom of a man that serves
as a defensive attributes when calamity strikes:
ECCLESIASTES 7:12
(12) For wisdom is a defence, and money is adefence: but the excellency of knowledge is,
thatwisdom giveth life to them that have it.”
This
is why a wise man is more powerful than ten rulers in a city:
ECCLESIASTES 7:19
(11)
Wisdom
strengtheneth the wise more
than ten mighty men which are in the
city.
So today we are going to use wisdom of
ELIAKIM, SHEBNA and JOAH toward RABSHAKEH whom the King of Assyrian sent to servants of HEZEKIAH to compel obedient and trust from
Him to disdain and reduce the craftiness and prideful attitude of King of Assyrian
whom sent them on that mission:
ISAIAH
36:14-22
(13) Then
Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice
in the Jews'
language, and said, Hear ye the words
of the great
king, the king of Assyria.
(14) “Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive
you:
for he shall not be able to deliver you.
(15) Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the
LORD,
saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this
city
shall not be delivered into the hand of the
king of
Assyria.
(16) Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the
king
of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a
present,
and come out to me: and eat ye every one of
his vine,
and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye
every one
the waters of his own cistern;
(17) Until I come and take you away to a land like
your
own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of
bread
and vineyards.
(18) Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, the
LORD
will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the
nations
delivered
his land out of the hand of the king of
Assyria?
(19) Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad?
where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have
they delivered Samaria out of my hand?
(20) Who are they among all the gods of these
lands,
that have delivered their land out of my hand,
that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of
my hand?
(21) But they held their peace, and answered him
not
a word: for the king's commandment was,
saying,
Answer him not.
(22) Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that
was
over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and
Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to
Hezekiah
with their clothes rent, and told him the
words of
Rabshakeh.”
They kept silent to the foolishness of
the King of the Assyrian because they understand that a king was speaking. So
today wisdom demands that you turn deaf ear and use silence to foolishness of a
king who will speak volume against the living God as King of Assyrian did
through his servants. Remember the adage “Silence
is golden” to every threat today because Jehovah has the final say.
Today also God is in love with one
that are blessed with embodiment of wisdom. And God is looking for such
attributes to propel leadership and security of the land because it is only
wisdom that give security and long life. Money may give security but may not
preserve life
SONGS OF SOLOMON 3:6-9
(6) “Who is this that cometh out of the
wilderness
like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and
frankincense, with all powders of the
merchant?
(7) Behold his bed, which is Solomon's;
threescore
valiant men are about it, of the valiant of
Israel.
(8) They all hold swords, being expert in war:
every
man hath his sword upon his thigh because of
fear in the night.
(9) King Solomon made himself a chariot of the
wood of Lebanon.”
Today, just as wisdom of God is about
to give you security, God is also out to reduce and destroy the prideful acts
of the wicked:
ISAIAH 47:1-11
(1) “Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin
daughter
of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no
throne,
O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt
no more be called tender and delicate.
(2) Take the millstones, and grind meal:
uncover thy
locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh,
pass
over the rivers.
(3) Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy
shame
shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I
will not
meet thee as a man.
(4) As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is
his name,
the Holy One of Israel.
(5) Sit thou silent, and get thee into
darkness, O daughter
of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be
called, The
lady of kingdoms.
(6) I was wroth with my people, I have polluted
mine
inheritance, and given them into thine hand:
thou didst
shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou
very
heavily laid thy yoke.
(7) And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for
ever: so that
thou didst not
lay these things to thy heart, neither
didst remember the latter end of it.
(8) Therefore hear now this, thou that art
given to
pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that
sayest in
thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I
shall
not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the
loss of children:
(9) But these two things shall come to thee in
a moment in
one
day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall
come upon thee in their perfection for the
multitude of
thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of
thine enchantments.
(10) For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou
hast
said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy
knowledge,
it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in
thine
heart, I am, and none else beside me.
(11) Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou
shalt not
know from whence it riseth: and mischief”
shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able
to put it off:
and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly,
which thou shalt not know.”
So today, God is about to punish and
reduce the pride of daughters of Babylon
for being rude and arrogant against the instruction of Most High God:
ISAIAH 47:12-15
(12) Stand now with thine enchantments, and with
the
multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou
hast
laboured from thy youth; if so be thou
shalt
be able to profit, if so be thou mayest
prevail.
(13) Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy
counsels.
Let now the astrologers, the
stargazers,
the monthly prognosticators,
stand
up, and save thee from these things
that
shall come upon thee.
(14) Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire
shall
burn
them; they shall not deliver themselves
from
the power of the flame: there shall not
be
a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
(15) Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou
hast
laboured, even thy merchants, from thy
youth:
they shall wander every one to his
quarter;
none shall save thee.”
So today, just as God is set to reward
wisdom with security; God is also going to reduce and destroy prideful acts and
attitudes. Remain blessed.
