HUMILITY WAITS ON THE LORD; BUT PRIDE SUFFERS SHAME

ISAIAH 44:1-END

Humility is an attribute of servants of God. It is a nature of God in a man that God respects and chooses for his work. So today God is about to promote humility and dethrone pride ad arrogance. God said that his servants must be honored and promoted because of this quality in them while high officials who are prideful will be demoted to nothing:

ISAIAH 40:23

(23) “He reduces high officials to nothing

        And make judges of the earth an

       Unreality”

God is the one that holds the key to promotion and demotion depending on the attributes one possesses. So today God is about to demote the wicked and promote the righteous ones:

PROVERB 16:5

(5) “ Everyone proud in heart is detestable to Jehovah

       Be assured that he will not go unpunished”

Today, God is about to deal with everything prideful in the society that will hinder the propagation of gospel of our lord Jesus Christ. Even those that supports proud personalities will not go unpunished:

PSALM 40:4

(4) “Blessed is that man that makes the lord his trust

       And respecteth not the proud, nor such that turns

       Aside to lies”

You are blessed when you don’t join a proud man or woman in his/her affairs. God is happy with the one that disrespects anything prideful. This is the nature of God per excellent.

PROVERB 16:18

(18) “Pride is before a crash; and a haughty

       spirit before stumbling

(1)              Better to be humble among the meek

Than to share spoil with of haughty”

Pride is an abomination to God; and this why he always resists any prideful nature:

PROVERB 8:13

(13) “The fear of Jehovah means hating bad

         I hate self exaltation and pride and the

        Evil way and perverse speech”

JAMES 4:6

(6) “But he giveth more grace; wherefore he saith:

      God resisteth the proud; but giveth grace unto

      the humble”
