SONGS OF
SOLOMON 5:1-END
PROVERB 19:1-END
PROVERB 4:1-END
Discipline is the key to life’s puzzling intricacies,
there are times we come across issues that proves stubborn and hard to crack
but with proper and well organized manner of approach, things will normalize as
expected. We don’t dabble into nonsense because of jealousy of unknown sector.
If you are jealous towards some extra ordinary favour that God has given
someone, you may not get such a favour in your own life. Life is full of
wonders only to those that believe and know the God they serve by faith.
Apart from faith discipline is another key that
distinguish a personality. Now what is discipline? The word discipline is
generated from discipleship; it has to do with followership and fellowship.
These are keys to becoming a leader, for one to be a good leader, he has to
understand the word discipleship which comprises how to interact with a group (fellowship) and secondly how to follow your leader (followership). With proper
followership and fellowship discipline is achieved which produces good result
in the long run known as wisdom; because knowledge is acquired by followership
and fellowship which produces result.
In Education sector, a student cannot pass his
exams without proper following his lecturer’s directives as well as interaction
with his/her fellow students to know what is required of them. The one that
took first is different from others because of his/her strict adherent to
latter letter of his/her lecturers and that is called discipline which are
steps to Excellency in life and ministry.
On other hand discipline also means to correct one
with rod of punishment, this can be achieved through imprisonment, but for a
child. It means to use some punishment measure like beating, flogging with cane
and using word of advise to scold a child. This is to curb foolishness and
ignorant from the child.
PROVERB 19:18
(18) “Discipline your son while there is hope
And do not become responsible for
his death
When you don’t use
punishment measure on a growing child, the child will grow wild and you as
his/her parents must bear consequences in the long run because you neglected
that child. In the same manner God treats us.
HEBREW 12:6
(6) “For those whom Jehovah loves he
disciplines, in fact,
he
scourges everyone whom he receives as son”
It is discipline that distinguish
a personality in the society, it will as well preserve your life because it is
void of violence.
PROVERB 4:13
(1)
“Hold unto
discipline, do not let it go
Safeguard
it, it means your life”
Your future is tied to how
you discipline yourself and how others discipline you. When you are void of
discipline, it affects your future, because you lack the necessary experience
to build a great future. A great future is a product of discipline.
PROVERB 19:20
(20) “Listen to counsel and accept discipline
In order to become wise in your
future”
Your future is not far
from your experience, but it takes discipline to bring it together. Remain blessed.
